„Great location for hikes in the area. Hotel located close to the beech with the miniature railway running out front. Nice bar area with a good selection. Unfortunately I can’t review the food as the kitchen was closed due to staffing issue. “

„My stay was very good and the hostesses Steph and Erin were super friendly and helpful. From help with pre-ordering breakfast the day before to getting our room instructions. The place was gorgeous and very clean. A very easy place to chill down and rewind. The only thing I would advise for improvement is to remove that staircase window in the twin bedroom as it lets light come in to the room at night even with the curtain closed. Also maybe tint it with privacy film.“

„We were very glad to find this property available as a relatively late booking. We did not know beforehand that the Hotel is purpose built to cater for disabled guests and we were expecting a more conventional “beach club” with lounge/bar and restaurant open as a matter of course rather than just on request. „We had a lovely two night stay. We booked only 48hrs before our visit so we had the last available room, which had a wonderful garden view and although it was smaller than we anticipated the fun of watching dozens of garden birds on the many bird feeders outside our door and also seeing tiny shrews playing and jumping in the late evening was wonderful. Breakfast was pre booked and excellent and our hosts happy to help at all times. We would definitely return.“

„This fantastic B&B looks like a mansion, its interior is beautifully decorated and the rooms have a standard high above most B&Bs. Beds and bedsheet, bathrooms, breakfast – they are all characterized by great taste and the hostess is very sympathetic and service minded. During our travel around in England, Scotland and Wales for three weeks in September 2019 we stayed at 13 different B&Bs and hotels – Plas Y Dderwen was definitely the best B&B of them all.“
