„What a great location. Right on the beach. The windows were amazing and views stunning. The split level layout made it easy for one of the older couples to only walk up a few steps to their bedroom after walking up the flight of stairs to get to the main floor. The property description is accurate but pay attention to the stairs. The kitchen was great with anything you would need in the cupboards. „We booked this home for a family reunion and it did not disappoint. The home had all the basics for big family get togethers and the views were spectacular. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of space for our kids, their cousin, aunts, and uncles and was accomodating for kids to be entertained and for the adults to relax.“

„Lovely property “

„We had a great time at the house, and we had enough space for all 5 adults and 3 kids. The cottage house was a little musty and we weren’t aware the room in there was up a steep flight of stairs but otherwise it was great. The beds are comfy and the fireplace kept the room warm in the cooler evening and morning hours. The walk to the beach is tough for little kids and older folks, and the beach access is very steep. Once on the beach though, it’s private and beautiful. “

„We loved our stay at The Whale! Over 30 family members of all ages fit comfortably in this accommodation! The home is a bit older, and some things are worn out, but with close beach access sand can reek havoc! We were in close proximity to so many amenities such as waterfalls, lighthouses, deep sea fishing and whale watching not to mention the five minute walk to beach! Any issues we had with the house were quickly handled. As mentioned in other reviews, the electric outlets on the third floor ...

„Stunning rental! Gorgeous kitchen and primary bed & bath. You will be sad to leave. Beautiful sweeping view of the ocean. Central location next to D River. Be aware for possible mobility issues: there are a flight or so of stairs to get to the house. “
