A lovely relaxing retreat. The dogs loved it too with a lovely secure garden for them and us to enjoy. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und die Vermieter, Georgina und David sind bezaubernd und sehr hilfsbereit.Sehr lecker ist der hausgemachte Honig und die Orangenmarmelade.Durch die Lage an der Grenze von den Grafschaften Devon und Cornwall ist alles in einer Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar. Für uns war es ein traumhafter Urlaub.“

„Sehr schön eingerichtetes Cottage. Küche mit allem was man so braucht. Der Wintergarten hat eine große Couch. Die Aussicht ist phantastisch über einen See zum Berg. Die Eigentümer wohnen vorn im Haupthaus, aber man merkt gar nicht dass jemand da ist. Wenn man etwas braucht sind sie aber sofort da. Das Cottage liegt sehr ruhig und einsam, was uns gut gefallen hat. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto. Die Straße dorthin ist cornwalltypisch sehr schmal aber wir haben es immer geschafft. „We spent a wonderful week here in the summer. The photos in the listing accurately reflect the place itself. Everything we needed for our group of five was provided, and the kitchen was particularly well-equipped. However, the formal description cannot capture the cosy and welcoming atmosphere of this cottage. „My husband and I stayed in "Hawkins" cottage at Portwrinkle and we couldn't have asked for more. It was perfect for us and the cottage had everything we needed and was nicely decorated and well laid out. The hot tub was a great feature. One of the reasons we chose this cottage is because it has a conservatory overlooking the sea, in case of inclement weather.
