Chalet Blackbushe is conveniently located close to key amenities in Les Houches. Just steps away from the Prarion lift, it’s easy to hit the ski slopes straight from your doorstep. The chalet also overlooks the Chavants lake, a popular spot year-round with a café, a cross-country ski track in winter and a climbing wall in summer.

For those travelling with kids, the area has plenty to keep them entertained. Daily essentials are easily sorted too; a bakery next door sells not only bread and pastries but also essentials like milk and even evening meals. When it comes to exploring further, the nearby bus stop provides hassle-free access to the rest of the Chamonix Valley. Chalet Blackbushe delivers a convenient and straightforward base for your alpine holiday, no matter what you’re looking to do.

Access to the chalet requires quite a number of steps, so it is not suited to those with reduced mobility.

**Detailed description**

Nestled in the Haute de Chavants development, Chalet Blackbushe offers a unique blend of seclusion and convenience. Please note that access to the chalet involves ascending approximately 30 steps, and may not be suitable for those with mobility restrictions.

As you enter on the ground floor, you’ll find a TV room equipped with a sofa bed and a wide-screen TV with satellite channels. A dedicated laundry area includes a washer and tumble dryer. This level also features a shower room, a WC, and abundant storage space.

A short climb to the next level reveals an open kitchen, dining room, and living room, all warmly centred around a cosy fireplace, giving a traditional chalet feel. These spaces extend onto a balcony with lovely views and lead to a garden area that’s perfect for alfresco dining.

On the top floor, two double bedrooms each provide private balcony access and are fitted with TVs. An office room and a well-appointed bathroom with WC complete this floor.

**What’s Included**

Self-catered bookings include linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If your chalet features a sofa bed and you require additional linen to accommodate maximum occupancy, a supplementary linen fee of €25 will apply. The rate also includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local taxe de séjour (tourist tax), which provides access to a Carte d’Hôtes. This card grants complimentary use of local trains and discounts on museum admissions and other attractions.

Standard check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with check-out required by 10:00 AM. Please note that late arrivals may incur additional charges. If your chalet permits pets, additional fees apply. Dogs are charged at €15 per night per dog; however, cats are not permitted in any Alpes Agency apartments.

**Payment terms and Cancellation**

To confirm the booking, you must pay 10% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.

If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.

Please note that a temporary damage deposit of €500 will be charged on the day of arrival and held for the duration of the stay. The deposit will be released upon check-out.
