Check in was easy, the hosts responded immediately to questions and were very helpful. An added bonus, Weaverville itself is a great little town with good food and fun shops! I would absolutely go back to this same property!“

„We were not able to use the hot tub due to there not being enough water, which was a bummer. The hot tub appeared old and not very clean. Water pressure is not great if you want a good shower. The fireplace from the pictures didn't work either. I never heard back from the host after I messaged them about the hot tub. For the price, you might as well get a hotel with a working hot tub and good shower. “

„Griffin’s Lair was a great location for anyone visiting the Biltmore. The neighbors surrounding the location were very friendly and we loved walking to different locations for dining and shopping. It was very clean and we had everything we needed for our short trip. I would definitely stay again. The Biltmore and Biltmore Village have such a rich history and we loved being a part of it!“

„Our dogs were very happy about the thick grass around the property. I didn’t bring their beds, but I went to the Dollar General and bought a rug for them, which softened the hardwood floors. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this old stone house. It reminded me of relatives homes from the distant past. There’s only one small bathroom, but since it’s just the two of us, it was fine. We loved the break from the everyday bustle.“

Cottage is up on a mountain and we were there in June and it was 10 degrees cooler than in town! Cottage is well maintained and has all amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. „History buffs will especially appreciate this house. The owners have come up with a good compromise between historical accuracy and modern livability. The kitchen is adequately furnished, and the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels, and the bathroom and shower-tub are totally functional. Plenty of hot water, which can sometimes be an issue with older homes.There are multiple grocery stores a short driving distance from the place, and the downtown is very close. Easy access to the River ...
