„The trailer was older but fully functional. Heat and fans for temperature control. There was lots of space to park and set up tents, the kitchen sink and stove worked well and the bbq was very helpful. The space was very nice with trails, canoeing, and the full camping experience. „We had a flood in our BNB which we booked back in February. Thankfully this cottage was available to cover part of our stay. The kids enjoyed the location and we were so grateful for enough beds for everyone to stretch out at night (myself with 3 kids, one being a teenager)! The hosts and neighbours were welcoming and kind. Would happily return if we are in the area again. Definitely quiet and peaceful pace of life where you can relax. Gas BBQ was easy to use. „We had a great time at this place. Once we arrived we instantly regretted not booking this place for a third night but the host was very generous and allowed us to checkout late on our final day. „Loved the beach and sandy lake bottom. Didn’t like being right on highway 60, lots of traffic noise. The kitchen was very dark and the light over the sink wasn’t working. Everyone had to walk through the main bedroom to use the only shower, the hosts left their bar of soap, toothbrush and paste and a razor. „We should have stayed a bit longer, Tom's cottage is perfect to calm down and relax after a long and intensive sightseeing road trip through USA and Canada. No motor boats on the lake, the next busy road quite far away - best place to relax. We liked also on evenings to make BBQ with the gas grill and the camp fire in the fire pit . I hope there is a next time to get there.“
