„Monkey Lala is a great place to stay if you want beachfront property in El Tunco. The rooms are well taken care of and the patio space is abundant. The only thing I would say is make sure you bring some earplugs or noise cancelling headphones as it gets quite loud on fridays and Saturdays with the discotec right next to the property. If you can get past that small thing, its totally worth the stay. Wonderful. “

„Stayed two nights during Semana Santa. The place is directly on a nice beach, but once you are there, you are there and there aren't any other bars and restaurants around. You'll need a car to reach it. The owner was very attentive, asking numerous times if we liked the place. It has a certain charm but I can't say that it has much in the way of comfort. "The hotel was really the perfect place for the last days of our 3 week vacation. All we wanted was a nice place to stay and lay at the pool 24/7. The hotel was the perfect choice. Nice interior design, two beautiful pools, direct view at the sea, great drinks and good food. The hotel does not have their own restaurant but still provides some really tasty dishes. Food can also be delivered from another restaurant for a small fee. Within 20 minutes you can also walk down to the next town (el Zonte) with lots of restaurants and a beautiful beach. We would definitely book at El Xalli again. The staff was also super nice and helpful all the time. "
