Gehen sie besser woanders hin!
Total abgewohntes und übertrieben teures Hotel, entspricht nicht im Ansatz einem 4 Sterne Hotel. Von kaputten Rolltreppen bis defekten Steckdosen im Zimmer ist alles dabei. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, müssen aber in dreckigen abgewetzter Kleidung herumlaufen. Einzig positiv ist die Nähe zum Flughafen,man muss nur über die Straße gehen.

We have stayed here 5 times, it is wonderfully convenient across from the airport. We love the pool area and the nice breakfast buffet. Staff are always so friendly. Service can be slow and the building is tired. Sometimes the rooms are overpriced, guessing due to the location. We will continue to come back due to convenience, cleanliness and pool.

Amazing value. 2nd time at Waterfront, buffet had incredible selection, staff was very attentive and helpful. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Non smoking casino on site, free shuttle to airport. Highly recommend and will be staying here for every trip in Cebu. Thanks Waterfront hotel!

Waterfront is convenient if you are flying out of Cebu since it is right next to the airport and they offer complimentary shuttle. Breakfast buffet is nice. The hotel is a little older and probably needs some minor renovations. It is quiet, and the staff are very nice

"I recently stayed at The Waterfront Hotel in Mactan and found the experience to be just okay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my room was defective, so I had to call housekeeping in the middle of the night for an electric fan to help cool the room." For the price of the hotel I expected a better stay. The bidet did not work, the room didn't cool down enough to be comfortable, and the breakfast buffet we paid for did not have a good selection. The restaurant was very expensive as well but the food was mid.

The hotel is a bit dated. I was disappointed with the local knowledge from the staff. I had to catch a ferry in the morning and no one knew where the ferry terminal was. I ended up wasting almost a hour and had to pay a larger taxi fare because of the lack of knowledge from the staff. I would have expected the hotel to know the tourist information around the area.

PROS: hotel is conveniently close to the airport if arriving at an off time of night and if catching a connecting flight the next day. Airport transfer staff are very polite and nice. Hotel lobby has an old Cebu feel to it. Breakfast buffet has all the Cebuano favorites and then some at a great price. CONS: The rooms and most facilities are quite dated and could use some freshening-up. Everywhere smells musty and the AC doesn’t work very well making it feel very humid and warm everywhere.

The food was excellent. I liked have the option of buffet or ordering off the menu. The staff from house keeping, restaurant or check-in/out were friendly, professional and most of paid attention to details within there area of expertise. Great experience. We will definitely make this our stop hotel for all future visits.
