„A really lovely house in a beautiful peaceful location. Comfortable ( especially the beds) and cosy. So nice to be able to go for walks straight from the front door and an ideal spot for visiting Avebury and other ancient sites in the area. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would love to return.“

„We really enjoyed our stay here, and would happily return. It’s close to both Marlborough and Avebury and there are lots of interesting walks from the latter. There’s a good pub within easy walking distance. Warm cottage, comfy large bed and a great shower. The host responded immediately to a question we had and was very helpful.“

„großzügiges, sehr ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus mit schönem Wohn-Esszimmer und vollausgestatteter, separater Küche. Es fehlt an nichts! Schlafräume oben sowie das kleine WC sind optimal. Problem: in google maps ist pondhaouse cottage auf der falschen Straßenseite ca. 100 m entfernt eingezeichnet. Vermieter kann aber dafür nichts!!“

„Hooks Farm Cottages are located on a working diary farm. The accommodation is excellent with plenty of amenities. The owners are very friendly and there is plenty to see within a short drive. Though the M4 is within viewing distance from the front of the property there is no road noise at all. Excellent. “

„Great place to stay. Me and the dog loved it. Very quiet (except being on the flight path of RAF Brize Norton). Loved the planes, so it didn't bother me, after the shock of the first one! Beautifully furnished, with an amazing garden and field beyond for the dog. Located close to visit the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Would highly recommend.“

Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions.“

"Freundliches Personal. Zimmer absolut in Ordnung was Größe und Sauberkeit betrifft. Die Matratze fanden wir gut und es gab 2 Kopfkissen, etwas weicher und das andere etwas härter. Lage ist sehr praktisch direkt an der Autobahn, dies haben wir aber im Zimmer nicht gehört. "
