Almost any facilities and extras you could want or need were already provided, with such care and attention to detail across all the areas. „This was an excellent place to stay, with historic ironworks in front, whitewater in behind, and a real steam-engine train passing by that looked like something out of a story book. There are two flights of 17 steps each, for a total of 34 steps to get to the flat, and then 14 more inside the cottage to get to the bedroom. The unit was immaculate when we arrived, and well-stocked with essentials, except we could not find bedding for the pull-out bed in the main living area. The grounds were ...

„Wonderful set up at The Lodge. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family break. All the mod cons, particularly liked the electric window blinds. Kitchen facilities was excellent and more than adequate. We also took our own coffee machine for that extra home comfort. Location was pretty central for the places we wanted to visit. Windermere was only 40 minutes away with stunning views of the country side on route. Hot Tube was a lovely touch and well maintainedAll in all a lovely break away ...
