„We stayed for one amazing night at Tree house El Rio. It is a real tree house built on two massive trees. You can hear the river which is right out the front balcony. and you are fully immersed in nature. „The property itself was quite nice and the beach is great. However, we were battling cockroaches the entire time. We probably killed around 12 roaches. And we left bread on the counter for an afternoon and it was covered in tiny bugs. This is our mistake too, but the bugs were just too overwhelming. The owner is very kind and communicative. The only downside is the war on bugs during our stay.“

"Wir (2 Erwachsene, 1,5 jährige Tochter und 4 jähriger Sohn) konnten das Hotel und alle Services genießen! Eines der besten Hotels unserer 8 wöchigen Reise, wenn man das rundum sorglos Paket für Familien benötigt. Gratis Fahrrad Verleih für Erwachsene und Kinder war super. Miniclub war klasse mit super lieben Mitarbeitern! Pools für klein und groß. Unser Sohn liebte Minigolf. Eines der besten Frühstücksbuffets die ich je hatte! Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag: Kinderpool, Spielwiese und Minigolf brauchen dringend Schatten."

"Wunderschön gelegenes Hotel mit grnadiosem Blick aufs Meer - sowohl vom Zimmer als auch vom Restaurant und Pool. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und mit Balkonen und Meerblick. Die Anlage wirkt sehr gepflegt und der Pool lädt zum Entspannen mit tollem Blick ein. Allerdings ist die Verständigung auf Englisch mit den meisten Angstellten schwierig und auf das Nötigste beschränkt - Spanischkenntnisse wären hilfreich. Außerdem ist die steile Schotterstraße zum Hotel nicht ganz ohne - dennoch würden wir das Hotel jederzeit wieder wählen, wenn wir in der Gegend sind. Die Nähe zur Fähre ist praktisch, insbesondere wenn man früh abreist oder spät ankommt."

"Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig mit allem nötigsten ausgestattet. Das Hotel besticht vor allem durch seine Lage im Dschungel und die tolle Anlage- hier fühlt man sich richtig wohl und in Costa Rica angekommen. Der Blick beim leckeren, landestypischen Frühstück ist ein Traum. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die unglaublich leckere Pizza - eine der besten Pizzen, die wir je gegessen haben (und das als Europäer). Wenn man Glück hat sieht man neben Legunanen auch Aras in den Bäumen der Anlage. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Tarcoles, den Carara Nationalpark und auf dem Weg nach Manuel Antonio bzw. in den Süden."
