„Family travelled to Ladysmith for a winter reprieve and to spend time with friends living locally. Ladysmith is a unique place, centered well between Victoria and Nanaimo. The rental provided all the comforts of home, was very clean, extra bedding and towels (always a plus!) and so spacious for us travelling with 3 teenagers. „This place was simply perfect for our family of 6. It was 12 minutes from the ferry in Nanaimo, it had a BBQ, a backyard for the kids to play in, it was near a ton of great parks, and the views were spectacular. The only complaint I really have it sometimes you could hear the owners above, they had a small child and you could hear the stomping and crying. Property owner was incredibly nice but only one of them spoke English! Otherwise it was truly an incredible experience and I would come back ...

„The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous. „We absolutely loved our stay in this unique cottage on the water. Beautifully decorated, and clean. Very picturesque views, we loved sitting on the deck looking out at the water and we enjoyed campfires at night. The beds were very comfortable and lots of space for our family. „The location of this rental was absolutely beautiful, just followed google maps as per host directions and found my way there. This was my first time with vrbo and i was abit sketchy and nervous if I had a place or not, but everything was up to par. „Wir waren für zwei Nächte dort. Die Wohnung ist nett und urig eingerichtet, auch wenn die Heizung des Hauses mit in der Wohnung ist. Das Schlafsofa ist bequem, das Bett auch. Die Wohnung befindet sich im Erdgeschoss von dem Haus der Vermieter. Die Kommunikation lief reibungslos ab. Jedoch ist die Wohnung eher was für Erwachsene ohne Kleinkinder geeignet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, zum See sind es aber auch noch paar Autominuten. Die Landschaft und Wanderwege vor Ort sind super.“

„We stayed here for a quick family R&R and it was perfect, this spot is an absolute gem. The water is so clean and warm, great coffee shop right next door and you can float down the river. The check-in process & communication could use some work but the host said that it was the VRBO platform issue so not much they could do on their end. We will definitely be back here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a clean, well equipped waterfront accommodation!“
