„Das beste Hotel in Peten. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal und ein helles sauberes Zimmer. Die Möglichkeit, am kleinen Pool zu sitzen und sich abzukühlen, war ein großer Bonus. Ich konnte mein Gepäck deponieren, obwohl ich eventuell weiter reisen werde nach Rückkehr.“

„It was good. We just needed a place to sleep with a private bathroom. Traveled with my 71y/o mother. We are both diabetics insuline dependent and they were kind to let us store the insulin in their fridge. They also stored our bags untill check in time as we arrived early. “

„I spent three nights and everything was fine. The place is clean and all the staff members I interacted with were very nice. The bedroom I had had a window to an indoor area but not to any exterior. I did not spend too much time in there so that was fine with me. If you are a light sleeper, you may have trouble as there is some noise and music at night from next door patios (restaurants, etc.). It is easy to walk to Isla de las Flores crossing the bridge and the new bus station is 7minutes away ...

„I felt so comfortable in this hotel! The rooms were very nice and I slept amazing in the comfortable beds. The staff was always helpful and attentive, helped to organise trips etc. Not everyone spoke English, but they truly did their best to overcome language barriers and there wasn't a situation that wasn't solvable. I loved the patio and the pool. Reading in the hammocks in the evening was a dream! “

„The hotel is brand new, the rooms and facilities are great. It has a nice pool area and a good bar/restaurant. It's probably the best value for money in the whole area of Flores. We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Tepeú. The only disadvantage is the location: you need around 5-10 minutes by tuktuk to get to the island with most bars and restaurants. In the area around the hotel there is absolutely nothing to do.“

There’s free transportation to Flores available by boat before 8 pm, and for a small fee boat will transport you to surrounding areas after hours. I scheduled the boat at 2:30 am to make it to Flores for my tour to Tikal and for 3 consecutive nights to pick me up after dinner. They also have a complimentary use of 2 kayaks. I used a kayak to visit a museum in Isleta Santa Barbara, and just for fun around the island. Food is also ...
