Sehr freundlicher Empfang, ein nettes kleines Haus, mit allem was man benötigt, sehr sauber, zum Zentrum von La Fortuna nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Das Haud liegt in einem wunderschönen Garten mit absoluter Ruhe.

Charming house at the perfect spot!
We had a wonderful time at this lovely house. The location is perfect to explore Fortuna by foot - but is also very peacefully located directly next to the nature. The secluded garden makes it a great retreat. From the cute balcony you can watch the birds in the morning. The rooms offer everything you need and we could sleep well due to the air conditioner and the good beds. Stefano, the owner, lives next door on the large property and is very helpful but never disturbing. He helped us to arrange two great activities - thank you! We definitely can recommend the trip to the national park up north (wildlife and more) and to Paradise Hot Springs. A hiking trip at the volcano should also be made. The house is in the perfect spot to do all of that!

Villa Trentino 3 night stay
First time using VRBO and everything went well. I kept in touch with owners so they would know our estimated arrival time. The house is exactly as described 2 beds and 1 bath up with kitchen living and laundry down. Only the shower has hot water which is unusual but was fine. There is a code for the lock and code for the alarm system which only needs to be set when you are out. The property has lovely flowers, a view of the volcano and a covered outdoor area with seating and hammocks. It was very hot and only the bedrooms are air conditioned. We cooked dinner the first night & walked into town for the next 2 nights. Highly recommend the Snapper House restaurant and enjoyed pizza at the Italian restaurant across the street. Only one day was a bit rainy so did the chocolate tour, sloth watching tour and Arenal Nature Eco Park Would definitely recommend Villa Trentino but wish the main floor had ceiling fans

Lovely little home to retreat to after a day of adventuring around the Arenal Volcano. The location is wonderful - easy walking distance to downtown but far enough for quiet evenings and mornings. I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in La Fortuna/Arenal area. From the time we arrived until we left, all our needs were met. Top notch location
The house was very clean, well equipped, and in a fabulous location close to downtown La Fortuna. The proximity to everything allowed us to easily travel back and forth from our adventures and touring to the house for rest and relaxation. We were fortunate to have the volcano show itself a couple of times, and the view from the balcony is amazing. Early mornings drinking coffee on the balcony, while listening to the sounds of nature was my favourite time there. Unfortunately, we had a mixup upon arrival, in which messages from the owner went to my junk mail and I did not see them. This did understandably upset him and it set our greeting off on the wrong foot and left me feeling terrible about the situation. Needless to say, we did not get the same personal experience, chats and recommendations from the owner that everyone else has raved about In the reviews. His wife, Yorlenny, was very sweet and kind however. Aside from that, we had an enjoyable stay, and do recommend this rental as the owners have done a wonderful job of making it comfortable for guests.

THE BEST
My wife, kids & I didn’t want to leave after our 5 day stay came to an end. Stefano & Yorlenny are the best hosts we’ve ever had. From the time our stay was booked, to adding a couple more days, all the great recommendations, the location, the house, the property, the… everything, was the best! You will never feel so welcomed, sleep so well & feel so safe as you will at Villa Trentino. The house itself is beautiful & has everything you need to feel right at home. Comfy beds, kitchen necessities, drinkable tap water, good shower pressure, amazing views, etc. And it shares the property with another house which has your hosts (which is a great plus if you need anything or have questions). The location is great. Set right outside of the busy area of Fortuna’s town center. You could walk to just about everything if you choose. Driving is also not a problem at all. The area feels very welcoming & safe. Definitely take Stefano up on his recommendations, his knowledge & connections will come in handy. Especially Arenal Rafting, which our 9 yr old daughter said she had the best day of her life at. We had originally planned to stay 3 days & we’re fortunate enough to add on 2 more. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay there for our entire 2 week vacation. This rental lived up to everything in its listing & more. Thanks again Stefano & Yorlenny!!! Pura Vida!!!

Villa Trentino
We loved the villa and property, the grounds were maintained nicely and the view of the volcano was amazing. It was an easy walk to town and we felt safe walking in the neighborhood at night. Stefano and Yorlenny were very nice and made sure our stay was comfortable , Stefano took the time to give us some very good advice on which tours to take and even got us a discount at Baldi hot springs.

Lovely place to stay in La Fortuna
The little red casita, hosted by Stefano and Yoelany, was a little bit of heaven! The house is small but perfect for a couple. Bedrooms have AC and the tiny upstairs balcony faces the Arenal Volcano, a gorgeous view! We loved the beautiful enclosed garden with pretty flowering plants and lots of hummingbirds. One day, standing in the garden, we spied a howler monkey in a tall tree and a toucan in another tree. Amazing!

Great place to stay. The host is very helpful. Nice to have a friend who can give you the local scoop and recommendations. The house is walking distance to El Salto. What a great place. We went three times walking from the house. Walking distance to downtown as well. Gorgeous views of the volcano. The house is nice and bright as well. The yard gives you lots of space so you don’t feel boxed in. We’d stay here again.

We had an amazing time at Villa Trentino. Stefano and his wife were amazing hosts, giving us so much information about local attractions and even aiding is in booking them. They are very personable and helpful, and just good people. The house was wonderful and spotlessly clean. We loved watching the volcano and hummingbirds and other birds from the balcony of the main bedroom. The house was well appointed, we lacked for nothing. Our good fortune to stay in La Fortuna
We (two couples) stayed at Villa Trentino for four nights to take in the sights of La Fortuna and the Arenal volcano. We had had several communications with Stefano before we arrived and got great advice from him about the logistics of getting there. When we arrived a couple of hours early, he and Yorlenny were there to greet us and show us the property. They were warm hosts who made our stay easy and helped us to make bookings for various tours, even when we asked late at night for a booking the next morning. Stefano made several excellent suggestions about which tours to choose and gave us several great recommendations of restaurants in the town. The property is in a safe location, within easy walking distance of the town, with a great view of the volcano. A visit to La Fortuna is highly recommended and Villa Trentino is the perfect place to stay.

La Fortuna Treasure
If you are looking for a place to stay in La Fortuna, look no further. The house is ideally situated: walking distance to the town and a supermarket, but in in a quiet, safe "compound" away from the noise and hectic activity of the town. Steffano is wonderful; he is great source of info, advice, and recommendations, but respectful of not intruding and guest privacy. The house was clean and comfortable with many birds on the grounds. Perfect.

Neat, clean, with every single thing you need availabl... you cannot go wrong with it. Oh, and the best part, youll get special attention and treatment from the owner. A birder's Paradise!
We absolutely loved the property. Everything is so walkable which was super important to us. There are plenty of traditional sodas and many other restaurants nearby. The supermarkets were also very close. The kitchen is well equipped and makes cooking very easy. One morning I made myself a smoothie with local fruits from the farmers market! Stefano and Yorlenny are wonderful hosts! They keep the place so clean and have made it so cozy. Stefano gave us a lot of information about local tours that really helped us solidify our plans. The view is amazing and if you like to get up early you will see a lot of wonderful birds! The first morning we saw a collared Aracari right outside of the kitchen and we saw a lot of Golden-hooded tanagers, all before 8 am! I will happily stay here again the next time I am in La Fortuna!

Paradise in Arenal
Pura Vida! Stefano and his wife define the meaning of Costa Rican hospitality. The view and the ambience resonated with my family every morning. We stayed at his beautiful dwelling for a week and everyday was a new adventure! There is so much to experience in this wonderful oasis in La Fortuna, Arenal. Stefano's passion for Pura Vida emanates from his pores and provides super-helpful tips and recommendations. The home is welcoming and very warm. In the morning, we would awake to the beautiful songs of exotic birds along with frequent visits from tucans, hummingbirds, herons, etc. The town is close by with a lot of dining options and of course all of the other activities, e.g. white water rafting, zip-lining, thermal springs, wildlife interaction and so much more!!!

Perfect Stay Close to To Town
I can’t say enough about this property! First of all, the location is perfect. You’re in a nice, quiet neighborhood, but still walking distance to town. Secondly, you won’t find a better value. You have a full cottage to yourself in a beautiful, garden property, a full kitchen, laundry and A/C in both bedrooms. And finally, having the owners in the cottage next door is the biggest benefit of all. Stefano was very accessible to answer questions, and provide us with great recommendations. More importantly, when our battery died in our rental car, he was more than willing to help. Stefano tried to jumpstart our car, communicated and coordinated with a local mechanic to exchange the battery, and even gave us a ride to Paradise Hot Springs so we didn’t miss out on our 1st night in Fortuna. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible stay, and we’re so grateful for his genuine, kind hospitality. We’d absolutely recommend staying at Villa Trentino!

We loved this place, it was perfect for us as birders who enjoy the morning bird sounds. The Villa was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from a great coffee maker and blender to every kitchen item you could need. It was a short walk through a safe Tico neighborhood to all the restaurants and shops in town. Stefano provided outdoor chairs we could move around the yard to enjoy our coffee the view of Arenal Volcano watch birds in his beautiful yard enclosure. We wish we had more time to enjoy the area, and get to know this host. We were up and out the door with our bird guide two mornings by 0530.

Great location, views of Arenal and incredibly helpful host. First of all Stephano was a great host. Met us late at night on arrival and the next day helped us set up tours and get our COVID tests for return scheduled. The house has great views of Arenal and is a short walk to town and everything you need - grocery, restaurants, shopping, local swimming hole.... Very nice yard which lets you know you are in CR with the flowers and everything popping green. Nicely stocked kitchen which is one thing we looked for because we like to cook our own meals to save a little money and take advantage of the local produce. Overall a great place and host and we would stay there again if back in La Fortuna.

This was our best VRBO stay.
Stefano greeted us & spent a full hour briefing us about La Fortuna, activities, dining & shopping. It's a quaint 2 bedroom house on a large lot with lush gardens and a hut to bbq which we used to do our morning yoga outdoors. Stefano lives on the property in an identical house. Was able to answer all our needs, even helping us with tour bookings. The house is in a nice neighborhood just outside of town. There is a security system & locked entry gate which gave us safe assurance. The large kitchen & laundry came in very handy. Stefano & his wife were great host, giving us our privacy while taking good care of our needs. Highly recommend.

This is an awesome place with a perfect location! We would definitely stay here again-the host was great and the property was wonderful!
