„This cozy log home was the perfect setting to visit our tech students and enjoy the beautiful UP in the winter. It was a bit of a drive to places, but we knew this going in and found the seclusion relaxing. Lots of space, comfy seating, and warm wood burning stove made the living space perfect for our big group. Lots of bedrooms gave us all our private space as well. „This house was so perfect for our family of 7 adults, an 8 year old, and 5 month old! It had everything we needed and more! We loved the “poker room” and hooked out switch up to have game night, the sauna was incredible and inspiring me to build one in my basement, the kitchen was incredible and loved they had an extra kitchen in the basement! The owner was great to work and and quick to reply! Our family absolutely loved it here! Music on the Manitou on Wednesday night was a hit! Loved every ...

Be aware that there are no closets in any of the bedrooms. Good water pressure in the showers. Had an small issue with cleanliness in the kitchen but property manager was quick to respond and apologize. Overall good stay.“

Whether it was relaxing outside by the fire or hanging in the basement/game room, it was the perfect location away from all the people in town for the weekend.
