„Quiet and quaint during an early march visit. I think we were the only people staying there! Pool was great, and our room was right on the lakes edge. 50meters from the ferry terminal. Perfect if you’re looking for cheap and cheerful but don’t expect much more than the perfect base to explore the island“

„The staff were really nice and helpful for sure. The place has SO much potential but needs an injection of capital.. so many repairs/upgrades/maintenance needed. Plusses.. its the first resort from the ferry. You can walk there or a 2 minute drive. We were met and escorted (nice) but they need a much better sign out front (or you'd miss it). The pool/s are lovely, very clean and well maintained. A big plus. The rooms are comfortable with nice beds Breakfast was nice. Minuses .. the grounds ...

„The hotel is bordered by the lake on one side and virgin forest on the other. I took 3 marvelous meals a day and the evening meal had a roaring camp fire. Staff were superb. A boat trip organised by the manager was wonderful, many lake birds, families of monitor lizards and a flock of african grey parrots! Rooms clean, food good, drinks cold, assistance with travel, infact assistance with anything. What more do you want! “

„For the price, it's a convenient hotel, free transport to and from the airport (they even picked me up at 3:00 am from the airport). Breakfast is simple but fine and included. Dinner options are fine (not included but reasonably priced). I would stay here again. it's no frills but the staff and price are great. “
