Not as luxury as hotels such as say lion sands which is twice the price though you get all the comfort you need given how busy the days are. If you plan on spending more time in the hotel / room maybe look for more luxury but the balance of comfort and access to the park was perfect for us as first time safari travelers

„This hotel was ok, I found the tent very cold even tho it had a AC unit but it still didn’t warm up. The bathroom was completely separate. You had to lock and unlock 2 doors to get to the kitchen/bathroom. There is everything you need. The hot tub wasn’t very hot and needed more water. The whole stay was ok but not amazing. “

„The staff was awesome. The location was great. But…. the cleaner they had used was super strong smelling, so much so that it gave us a bit of a headache. Also, we happened to be there on a very windy night and the metal roof was banging around and making so much noise that we had a lot of difficulty sleeping. I must admit I wondered if the whole place was going to blow down. It didn’t, it was solid and we were safe. “

Very friendly staff, room was very comfortable.
Breakfast buffet and evening buffet were both excellent,
great choice of all kind of goodies.
Lodge is soo close to the Kruger Park entry.

"Our stay at this lodge was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, making us feel at home in the heart of the wilderness.
The game drives were an absolute highlight, thanks to our outstanding guide, Alvis, whose deep knowledge and sharp eye ensured we had some of the most spectacular wildlife encounters imaginable. Every drive was filled with unforgettable moments, making each outing a true adventure.
The design of the lodge is stunning, seamlessly blending luxury with nature. Whether relaxing in the beautifully designed rooms or unwinding in the common areas, everything felt thoughtfully curated and inviting.
The culinary experience was just as impressive. The food was consistently excellent, and the beverage selection was well above expectations, particularly the outstanding wine choices—far beyond what one would typically expect from an all-inclusive offering.
A special mention goes to the pool area, which provided breathtaking views of hippos, elephants, and even crocodiles—a magical setting that made every moment feel surreal.
