„Very nice location , enjoyed feeding and watching the birdlife that came everyday to the back porch area, including the Maggie's who came up and knocked on the door and window to let us know we were getting a bit slack with feeding them on time. „This was a great break, easy walk to town centre for a coffee in the morning, lunch or a beer in the afternoon. The house itself is a beautiful representation of a country house with great history and plans for the future. We enjoyed everything at our foot steps and the country feel we experienced here.“

„Enjoyed a couple's getaway weekend. Lovely clean home with all the basics you need for a holiday stay. Pot belly stove kept us cosy and warm in the evenings. Only minus was that the lawn area surrounding the house and where you park your car were a bit tricky to navigate as it was waterlogged and squelchy and just very wet. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.“

„Großes Ferienhaus (self-containted) mit viel Platz. Liegt abgeschieden zwischen Feldern. Kühe und Vögel vor der Tür. Top ausgestattet inkl. Waschmaschine und Tümmler. Modern und hübsch eingerichtet, ansprechend. Gute Küche. Carport. Das war unsere zweitliebste Unterkunft während unseres 4-wöchigen Australien-Aufenthalts.“

„Fabulous miners' cottage, beautifully furnished and ideal for our trip to Denmark. Many extra touches made this cottage a delight to visit. Due to the age of the cottage, there was a couple of steps and little uneven flooring which you had to be mindful off but this was not an issue for us and very clearly marked.“

„A wonderful experience provided by friendly hosts. A lovely farm setting with opportunity to feed goats, chickens, rabbits and horses. Even pony rides if required. Our cottage was well appointed and quiet with a view over the valley. Comfortable beds and sofas.“

„Such a beautiful spot, very quiet & great facilities. Beds were super comfy. Amazing cheese & wine on arrival was a lovely touch & the communication from the property managers brilliant. Views were fabulous! Only negatives were a lack of a couple of basic kitchen items, a bathroom door that would just not stay shut & very hit & miss wifi.
