The Space:

Kas Gia is a single-story villa with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a king-size bed, and bedrooms 2 and 3 each have a queen-size bed. The open-plan kitchen adjoins the living area and is fitted with built-in appliances, including a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and an ice maker. Outside, Kas Gia offers a private garden, a covered veranda, a terrace and a pool deck.

Good to know:

- No A/C in the living room: the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning for a cool and comfortable night's sleep. In the living area, ceiling fans and the option to open doors and windows provide a pleasant breeze throughout the day.

- Animal visitors: Bonaire is full of wildlife. The occasional curious lizard, bird or goat may wander into the garden. It's a quintessentially Bonairean experience and very much part of island life.

- No dryer: there's no tumble dryer, but you'll barely notice. With Bonaire's strong sunshine and steady Caribbean breeze, laundry dries in just a few hours on the line.

As a guest of Kas Gia, you have full access to the entire property: all three bedrooms, both bathrooms, the open-plan kitchen, the living room and all outdoor spaces, including the private garden, the covered veranda, the terrace and the pool deck with private pool. Free parking is available directly in front of the property. To give our guests a warm welcome and share everything they need to know about the home and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals personally. The Neighborhood:

Kas Gia is located in Sur Salinja, a quiet residential neighborhood on the south side of Kralendijk. The neighborhood is characterized by brick-paved streets, a relaxed atmosphere and a good location relative to both the center of Kralendijk and the dive sites and beaches in the area. Sur Salinja is a relatively new neighborhood where locals and expats live side by side, giving it a cozy Bonairean character. Shops, restaurants and dive centers are all within a few minutes by car or bike, while after an active day you return to the calm of a real residential neighborhood.



Kas Gia is approximately 1.6 kilometers from Top Supermarket, 750 meters from Dive Friends Yellow Submarine dive center, 1.5 kilometers from Isidel Beach Park, 1.3 kilometers from the center of Kralendijk and 1.3 kilometers from It Rains Fishes restaurant.



Sunwise insider tip: Our top recommendation is a trip to Klein Bonaire, the small uninhabited island just a fifteen-minute boat ride from shore. Klein Bonaire has been part of the Bonaire National Marine Park since 2001 and holds official protected nature reserve status. The island is renowned for its pristine coral reefs and crystal-clear waters, perfect for snorkelers and divers of all levels. You can rent a small boat from the marina or hop on a water taxi. Don't forget your sunscreen and snorkel gear: there are intentionally no facilities on the island, keeping nature in its most unspoiled form.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Kas Gia. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Kas Gia is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations, and we kindly ask you to keep noise down at night. Enjoy your stay at Kas Gia!
