Das Hotel an sich hat einen guten Standard und bietet alles was man sich vorstellen kann (Infinity Pool, Roof Top Bar, Zimmer mit Jaccuzi und tollen Ausblick sowie eine sehr große Frühstücksauswahl) Leider ist das Hotel mittlerweile in die Jahre gekommen und das sieht man leider. Normal sind wir hier nicht empfindlich, aber bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel, darf man denke ich erwarten dass kein Abflussgeruch aus der Toilette kommt, der Wasserhahn einwandfrei funktioniert, und die durchgelegenen Matratzen von Zeit zu Zeit ausgetauscht werden. Für den Preis den wir gezahlt haben hätten wir uns daher einen besseren Zustand erwartet.

Enttäuschend - sieht auf den Fotos elegant aus, ist es nicht. Im Gegenteil, nachlässig und unaufmerksam geführt. Ein paar Beispiele: -Beim Frühstück wartete man eine Ewigkeit bis von vorherigen Gästen abgeräumt wurde, meistens wurde einfach nie abgeräumt. -Liegenpolster hatten während der gesamten zwei Wochen die selben riesige Fettflecken und waren voller Krümel, werden wohl nie gereinigt. -Bettlaken mit riesigem Blutfleck erhalten -Die fremden Haare und Fingernägel (!) vom Vorgast habe ich im Bad nach 3 Tagen selbst entfernt, nachdem es der Reinigungsdienst wohl noch immer übersehen hatte -Klimaanlage im Zimmer so laut, schlafen ging daher nur mit Oropax -3 von 4 Cardio Geräten im Gym kaputt -Handtücher am Pool oft bereits mittags vergriffen, niemand sorgte für Nachschub -Frühstück ok aber nichts Besonderes -Als der Aufzug für 1 Tag nicht ging, hielt es niemand für nötig Handtücher zum Pool im 6. Stock zu bringen, man durfte also selbst gehen Keine dieser Dinge sind für uns wirklich erwähnenswert wenn sie alleine auftreten, in Kombination gibt es ein sehr negatives Bild. Das Hotel ist nicht günstig auch für westliche Verhältnisse. Wer solche Preise verlangt, muss mehr liefern. Drei Sterne gibt es für den Blick und die Ruhe am Infinity Pool, der wirklich schön ist, Freundlichkeit des Personals und das umweltbewusste Pfandflaschensystem.

Positiv: das Hotel liegt mitten in Aonang und ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge etc. Die Aussicht vom Infinitypool ist wunderschön. Im Zimmer gibt es Regenschirme, Schlappen, Bademäntel und jeden Tag 4 kleine Flaschen Wasser. Negativ: wer gerne Ruhe hat, sollte dieses Hotel meiden. Direkt nebenan ist eine riesige Baustelle die wohl noch einige Monate bleiben wird. Der Lärm ist von früh morgens bis in die Nacht zu hören. Außerdem schreit das Personal nachts stundenlang in den Gängen rum. In einer Nacht kam um Mitternacht ein Mitarbeiter hektisch in unser Zimmer gerannt und ist dann wieder rausgerannt. Was die Sauberkeit in einem 4 Sterne Hotel angeht erwarte ich deutlich mehr. Die Kakerlaken (5cm groß) sind bei dem Klima halt nicht immer zu vermeiden, aber der Boden etc. sollte zumindest geputzt sein. Auch das Mobiliar wie die Liegen am Pool waren sehr abgenutzt. Für den Preis für ein Zimmer mit Meerblick kriegt man deutlich bessere Unterkünfte in Aonang

Overall one of the nicer hotels in Aonang, especially if you get a room on the upper floors with very nice views. Unfortunately, we got the room at the reception, so both the view (looking towards a McDonalds sign) and the noise was a bit annoying (people passing by to checkin or take the elevator, music right in front of the room door at night during hotel events). Staff was friendly but missed out on giving us a lot of information (times and location of breakfast, pool etc). Room was clean, towels and linen old with some stains that apparently couldn't be removed after washing. Overall an okay stay.

Schönes, gehobenes Hotel...
Die Aussicht vom Zimmer idt sehr schön, diese bezahlt man aber natürlich auch. Ein lustiger Gag ist die Badewanne am Balkon, muss man probiert haben. Alles sehr geräumig, ein feiner Infinity Pool. Die Gebäude sind in den Hang gebaut, die Wege ein bisschen verwirrend und weit. Frühstück sehr vielfältig. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider nicht direkt am Strand, es gibt aber einen Shuttleservice. Eher hochpreisig.

Schönes Hotel mit traumhafter Aussicht
Super Hotel mit grandioser Aussicht, großen geräumigen Zimmern, traumhaften infinity pool. Frühstück sehr Abwechslungsreich und lecker, sehr sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, ich denke für Aonang das beste Hotel. Nah am Strand und mitten im Trubel, von dem man aber im Hotel nichts merkt. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Zwar kein direkter Strandzugang aber die Aussicht und die nähe zum strand sind sehr gut. Das zimmer war auch top. Das Früstücksbüffet standard ok. Alles in allem bestimmt ein gutes hotel in dieser Gegend.

Das meist junge Personal bemüht sich zwar, trotz mangelnder Englischkenntnisse freundlich zu sein wirkt aber unbeholfen und steif. Die im Charm eines chinesischen Staatshotels gehaltenen Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen und so hellhörig, dass man Toilettenspülung und Dusche der Nachbarn gut hören kann.

Gute Lage mit sehr tollem Infinity-Pool
Hotel besticht durch gute Lage im Zentrum Aonang's. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Zur Zeit unseres Aufenthalts fanden Renovierungsarbeiten statt (Nebensaison im September). Nach einer kurzen Beschwerde, dass diese Arbeiten uns störten, wurden wir in eine andere Zimmerkategorie upgegraded. Der Pool ist klasse mit schönem Blick über die Stadt bis auf das Wasser hinaus. Das "Family-Restaurant" um die Ecke ist einen Besuch wert, da es deutlich günstiger und qualitativ besseres Essen anbietet, als all die Restaurants direkt an der Straße.

War in Ordnung aber nicht für 4 sterne
Das Hotel war gut gelegen, 10 min zum Strand und direkt im Touristenviertel. Jedoch konnte das Hotel Preisleistungstechnisch nicht mithalten. Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt zur Straße schrecklich laut und unangemessen. Das Personal war launisch und nicht immer Freundlich. Wer einen PanoramaBlick aufs Meer haben möchte muss drauf zahlen. Das Hotel ist in zwei Klassen aufgeteilt. Sehr schade für 4 Sterne. Mängel wie z.B die Dusche war kaputt auf die Bitte diese zu beheben wurde nicht reagiert.

Wir haben wohl einen recht guten Rabatt erwischt und dafür war es top. Sehr große, sehr gemütlich eingerichtete Zimmer, allerdings mit sehr liebloser Terrasse (20 qm groß mit zwei Stühlen drauf) Den Normalpreis in der Hauptsaison würde ich allerdings nicht bezahlen, dafür ist es nicht gut genug. Frühstücksbuffet war ok, Pool auch in Ordnung aber nichts besonderes. Kraftraum stand wegen Löchern in der Decke stellenweise unter Wasser.

Im Zentrum & trotzdem ruhig (Del.-Zimmer Meerbick)
Das Hotel Aonang Cliff Beach Resort war das 1. Hotel auf unserer 3-wöchigen Südthailand-Rundreise. Als wir um 11:30 uhr ankamen war leider unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig (ist aber auch ab 14 uhr erst zugesagt). So sind wir dann gleich um 12 uhr mit dem Hotelshuttle zum eigenen Strandabschnitt mit Hängematten und Ruhe gefahren. Der Strandabschnitt ist wirklich sehr schön & ruhig, nett um anzukommen, aber nicht um einen ganzen Tag zu verbringen. Die 2 Stunden haben uns voll gereicht. Das Zimmer (Deluxe-Zimmer Meerblick) war dann auch fertig & wirklich sehr schön modern, geräumig & mit tollem Meerblick. Hinter dem Hotel am Hang wird gerade ein neues Resort gebaut, hier hat man schon ab und zu den Baulärm, aber morgens und nach 21 uhr war Ruhe... Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut & für jeden was dabei. Ausflüge & Transfers besser ausserhalb buchen (da man keine Lust hatte uns beim Transfer zu unserer nächsten Station Ko Jum behilflich zu sein, das war aber lediglich 1 Mitarbeiterin, die am Ausflugsschalter saß). Sonst waren alle Mitarbeiter hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir können das Hotel auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen.

Hatten ein Deluxe Room gebucht und bekamen ein ziemlich herunter gekommenes Zimmer.Möbel sehr alt und überall abgeplatzt.Am Waschbeckenrand alles schimmlig,Dusche+Schlauch+Kopf völlig rostig,unterum völlig verkeimt,rostig. Hinterm Klo ständig alles naß ,undicht. Handtücher alt und fleckig. Terrasse nicht wirklich nutzbar,2 Große Generatoren davor,sehr laut. Zimmerreinigung mieserabel,Waschbecken wurdr gar nicht gereinigt und was alle war ,wie Seife ,Kaffee usw. wurde auch nicht nachgefüllt. Wollten Zimmer tauschen,angeblich ausgebucht. Wir waren froh,das wir einen großen Rabatt beim Preis hatten,für den normalen Preis überhaupt nicht akzeptabel.

Schönes Hotel in Strandnähe
Nach einer Backpackingtour als Erholung gedacht, Hotel war wirklich sehr schön, und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Allerdings ist Krabi und Umgebung nicht wirklich zu empfehlen, 90% Urlauber. Haben die Menschen und die Kultur, welche wir im Norden kennen gelernt haben hier sehr vermisst. 100% teurer als in Chang Mai..

Sehr schönes Zimmer, gute Lage in der Nähe vom Strand (ca. 5min zu Fuß). Gegenüber ist außerdem direkt eine Bushaltestelle. Das Superior Zimmer ist schön eingerichtet mit genügend Platz für Klamotten und anderes. Großer Balkon mit Stühlen und einem kleinen Tisch ausgestattet, sowie einem Wäscheständer. Ocean View Zimmer sind etwas höher gelegen und haben somit einen tollen Ausblick über das Meer. Nettes Personal sowie Cocktailabende für Langzeitgäste. Pool ist ausreichend groß. Das Frühstück viel etwas nüchtern aus und es war wenig Abwechslung dabei, jedoch kann sicherlich jedes was passendes finden, sowohl warme Gerichte als auch Obst, Joghurt, Toast und Salat dabei. Alles in allem ein richtig gutes Hotel, um einen richtig guten Urlaub zu haben!!

Depends what you’re looking for
This is a difficult one to review. We booked a pool villa which was huge with a great pool if slightly in need of renovation (bad low pressure shower with mould up the wall, worn flooring, missing pool tiles). It was at the back of the hotel on the hill but was overlooking the sunset bar and the pool so not as secluded as we would have liked, however given we stayed at new year we ended up with a front row seat to the fireworks and celebration without being charged which was nice. However, there were issues with the hotel generally. There are a million lifts in different sections of the main building to use to get to anywhere and there don’t seem to be any service lifts so those lifts are almost always full of staff with crates moving things. Therefore if you don’t want to climb a hundred stairs it takes ages to get anywhere. There is nothing in the mini bar. It’s just a fridge. So you need to buy from the 7 Eleven. And room service wasn’t available after 10pm. It’s not what we expected. And the villas are like a separate add on to the main hotel so for that money I’d not stay again. Staff were generally lovely though especially the drivers of the buggies you can ask for to get to the top if available. Loved Ao Nang generally and we ate out every meal in town in the end, and that was great. It’s an easy walk to most things in the main town which is great.

HORRIBLE. The place catfished me - the room looked lovely online and had a view of the ocean. My room had a ton of street noise and a view of what looked to be a strip club (pic attached). The air conditioning didn’t work and somehow my room was hotter than it was outside (91F / 33C). I abhor this hotel. For the first time ever I left my fully prepaid nonrefundable reservation early to stay somewhere where I wouldn’t practically have a heat stroke every time I tried to sleep. Obviously they didn’t offer any sort of refund or apology. It was also wildly oversold - when I tried to use the infinity pool it was practically standing room only. Not even space to lay a towel down on the floor around the pool. Avoid this place like the plague.

Fantastic property! Beautiful resort with several pools and very happy with our stay. Location is mildly inconvenient since you'd need to take a tuk tuk to get into town but that's pretty easy since you can get one just outside the hotel. Some minor issues for a 5 star hotel like the room-service app did not work for us and keeping towels available at the pools.

우선 서비스가 매우 좋고 친절합니다. 그리고 숙소 위치가 좋아요. 비치랑도 가깝고 주변에 스타벅스, 편의점, 맥도날드가 있고 해변으로 걸어가는 길에 여러 가게들이 있어서 눈이 매우 즐겁습니다. 숙소 상태는 전반적으로 깨끗하고 좋았는데 저희가 묵었던 숙소는 층수가 낮은 만큼 비치 뷰가 잘 보이진 않았구요. 화장실이 방음이 전혀 안 되어서 그 부분이 좀 불편합니다. 그리고 끄라비 날씨 자체가 조금 습한 편이라 숙소도 좀 습한 면이 있는데 그래서 수영복은 잘 안 말라요 그나마 해가 쨍한 날 밖에 널어두니 잘 마르더라구요. 랜드마크 야시장까지는 거리가 좀 있는데, 교통편이 복잡해서 썽떼우 가격을 너무 비싸게 부르길래 저희는 걸어갔어요 걷기엔 좀 멀어요ㅠ 그 외에늨 위치나 서비스, 청결 등 너무 좋구요 인피니티 풀에서 보는 뷰가 너무 예쁩니다!ㅠ 사이즈는 좀 작지만 강추👍

Slipped multiple times on property due to tile and rainy weather both outside. The hotel is basic but with great location to everything. Would not stay again as room balcony’s are so close together and don’t offer much privacy.
