„Excellent onsen hotel right at the end of the first day of the Kohechi Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail. I came for the onsen and mountain seclusion, but they had such good maps of the Kohechi at the front desk that I decided to walk back to Koyasan the day I checked out. It’s about 20km through the mountains from Nosegawa Onsen to Koyasan, walking on a mix of well-kept trails and paved roads; overall, a moderately difficult hike with very good signage.

„Tucked away above the bar/cafe, this onsen was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very traditional in the Japanese style, and we had access to the entire area as we were the only guests staying on that night. The staff were completely lovely and helpful. The showers and toilets were well kept and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect to walk around and explore Koyasan. Definitely worth a visit!“

„A beautiful old town house style accommodation. Four japanese style bedrooms that lock separately, two toilets and showers, a spaceous kitchen, and one big shared living area which is lovingly decorated with traditional japanese decoration and furniture. There are also toys for kids and kimono (yukata) to wear.
The streets are narrow and you might get lost if you don't use a navigation map on your phone, but it's only 10 minutes from the train station. It's a quiet residential area with a few ...

„Room was perfectly fine, although not necessarily new. Was clean though. Lights in the room did not allow for a light configuration suitable for watching tv.
Train station very close and step free. Uncomplicated Bus shuttle to the airport “

„A little difficult to find if you are walking, but the owner was lovely, and went out of his way to help me and my friend. The hotel itself was very comfortable, good wifi and a comfortable shared space.“
