I traveled to our office in Kosice and was so happy I chose Chrysso. The room was huge (room 13) it was clean and had great amenities. I loved the breakfast and their small private courtyard. It is also super close to all the main attractions all walkable.

Perfect location meters from the main Old Street area. Breakfast was excellent with a very efficient young lady doing everything and making you welcome. Well presented property. Recommend it.

Come to Kosice one day to see Sweden's match in the ice hockey world cup, This was a very nice and cozy hotel and everyone was very service minded and nice. The only thing that wasn't good was that the TV in my room didn't work. I was offered to change rooms but this was not needed when I didn't need the TV. Otherwise everything was TOP ..

Nice location right off Main walking street. Shower was small with low shower head. Not good for 6’4” person. Room was hot with air conditioning not available due to season. Had to leave windows open which was not ideal. Room I had was on top floor with slanted ceilings and support beams. Made the room feel small and cramped.

Wonderful hotel in Kosice!
This one great hotel! I have seldom been attended by more personable front-desk folks in my years of travel! The hotel offered a wonderfully comfortable bet, great WIFI, and the best breakfast cappuccino I have ever had!

Hotel was clean and lovely - close to shopping and train/bus stations. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative was no parking attached to the hotel - closest was about 1/2 block away and not convenient if you have heavy luggage.

Very nice small hotel in great location.
Would recommend this hotel. Great location to explore the historic centre of Kosice. Helpful and friendly staff. 15/20 minute cab ride from airport (expect to pay €10 to €15 for cab). Lots of places to eat very close by. I doubt we will return to Kosice again but if we do we will definitely stay at Hotel Chrysso again.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Located on a quiet street within walking distance of Kosice, our room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard was exquisite! The decor was very modern and sleek with beautiful furnishings. The staff was very helpful and considerate of our needs. Breakfast was wonderful and offered a large array of pastries, meats, cheeses, bread and fruit.

Good find, great staff and well worth the money.
Reception and breakfast staff all very friendly and personable which created a welcoming atmosphere. I'm tall and the sloping ceilings in the eaves were a little problematic but I've stayed in more confined spaces. Good breakfast, nice decor and pleasant courtyard but the staff make it.

We had a room on the second and last floor , and the cieling was so low, you couldn't use half of the room, witch was already small. The windows tiny and up near the cieling, so no view at all.

Very nice and attractive hotel, the main attraction though, is the smile of reception manager Ivana! :-) It's a pity that the restaurant is open only for breakfast, and that the bars are not open either. But Kosice has nice restaurants everywhere!

I had booked for two nights. It's a very strange place, which looks like a brothel actually, with some perfume in the air (and something that looks like Chanel's logo everywhere). I had booked a single room and when I arrived (late, past 10 pm, after a long journey) I had a shower immediately. Then I started considering the room: gloomy! the light was like in an hospital, no bedside light, one switch at the other side of the room, no plugs, and a mess of electric wires under the desk that looked quite dangerous. I asked for another room and was shown the other single rooms which were a little better, but I was really feeling uncomfortable and I decided to leave. I couldn't spend the night there. They charged me one night, It's my most expensive shower ever. In any case, I cannot understand the good reviews.

Great hotel location and a wonderful front desk!
We spent 3 days in Kosice and this hotel was wonderful. It was close to the main pedestrian street and walkable to all the sights and restaurants. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. We were in Room 2 and there is also a large balcony that overlooks the courtyard. But the best thing about this hotel was the front desk. The staff was all friendly and welcoming, and Ivana went out of her way to help us with travel questions and doctor questions. She was truly the best ambassador for Slovakia and helped our travels end on a wonderful note.
