„We absolutely loved our stay here. It was our overnight halfway thru the Shimanami Kaido and it was such a wonderful place to rest. The views and especially sunrise are without equal! We regret not being able to stay at least 2 nights. The villa is equipped with everything you need to make your own meals, do your own laundry, lounge wear etc. They even left us a few beers, orange juice, specialty jam and honey samples and enough food for our breakfast this morning. We will absolutely be back ...

You can ask to make the onigiri vegetarian when you request the breakfast the prior day. Just note that the miso is not vegetarian because of the omnipresent fish stock.“

„This was a really lucky find. The hotel was located in a really peaceful and tranquil location by a lake with the added bonus of having an onsen. Traditional Japanese breakfast was included which was a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend it “

„When is a resort not a resort? In this case, when it doesn't provide any facilities outside the room. There's a rooftop bar in summer but nothing at other times. Staff were pleasant but breakfast was limited and when we asked for a second cup of coffee we had to pay for it. The room is large but was taken up by 4 double futons and a massive hanging screen for projecting TV/video. We felt it was intended for a large group who wanted to watch DVDs all day. The cost would have been fine split 8 ...
