„We rented this home for May Days long weekend to take in the celebrations in the Village of Kaslo. Wonderful home, close enough to town for walking back and forth as needed. The home was well set up for our family with adult kids. We cooked, BBQ and generally relaxed. The workout/yoga area was a nice surprise. There was everything we needed and hosts were very relaxed. „Another great stay with Kicking Horse Vacation Rentals. The Himalaya was perfect for our group of 16. Access to the cross country ski trails and the upper parking lot of the resort was a breeze. The kids really liked being able to sled in the yard outside. House was appointed with everything we needed and was as advertised. Looking forward to staying with Gabriel and the team again soon!“

Kicking Horse resort was closed which was unfortunate- but that’s nothing to do with the appartment. We found enough to do in Golden for the day we were there, and we were lucky with the weather too. „Stayed for 3 days of ski/snowboarding at Kicking horse. First off - don't worry about Kicking Horse reviews saying it's a dangerous mountian. It's only as scary as you want it to be with plenty of long green and blue runs. We were moderate to good riders on arrival ranging from 12 to 50 yo and didn't run into anything we didn't mean to try. „Unglaubliche Unterkunft. Wir wurden in zwei Appartements untergebracht die jeweils 50 m2 groß waren. Der Wasserpark (im Preis inbegriffen) ist großartig und bis 21:00 Uhr geöffnet. Schwimmen in den Sonnenuntergang mit Blick auf die Rockies, einfach klasse. Man muss sich allerdings komplett selbst versorgen. Kein Restaurant oder Frühstück im gesamten Komplex.“
