Wir waren zum dritten Mal dort (zweimal zu Poppies-Zeiten) und sind total happy, dass es auch als Anavana immer noch so ein tolles Hotel ist wie früher. Sehr gepflegte und schöne Anlage, toller Strand, super Essen und immer noch das freundlichste und aufmerksamste Personal. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Super Hotel, Wahnsinns Frühstück (à la carte!)
Zum zweiten mal im Poppies. Wieder einmal mehr, ein super tolles Hotel mit allen Annehmlichkeiten und Top Personal und Service. Was ich mir wünschen würde.... für den doch rechten Preis für eine Übernachtung sollte eigentlich ein Shuttle, der die Gäste am Flughafen abholt und auch wieder bringt im Preis inbegriffen sein und nicht noch extra berechnet werde n

Zwei Wochen Urlaub auf Koh Samui
Wunderbares Hotel am Chaweng Beach. Alles bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht. Großes Lob an Herrn Mc Manaman (Hotelmanager) und seine Crew, die stets freundlich und bemüht sind. Wir bekamen jeden Tag frisches Obst und eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit. Auch muss erwähnt werden, dass dieses Hotel komplett auf Plastikflaschen verzichtet. Falls wir nochmal nach Koh Samui reisen sollten, dann werden wir wieder im Poppies einchecken. Großartige Lage, alles schnell erreichbar (Geschäfte, Restaurants, ...) dennoch ruhig gelegen. Danke nochmals für den tollen Aufenthalt

Sehr schönes Resort in absoluter Strandlage. Hervorragendes Restaurant mit tollem Meerblick. Fußläufig zu den Lokalen und Geschäften des Chaweng Beach aber trotzdem auch abgeschieden, wenn man Ruhe möchte. Das Cottage mit seinem Garten ist ein kleines Paradies. Das Team des Resorts ist sehr hilfsbereit und familiär. Ein Rundum-Sorglos-Paket, komme gerne wieder!

Perfect place for the perfect stay

A wonderful small resort in Chaweng. Very nice spacious rooms, private beach, amazing(!) service, great breakfast and nice bar. Nearby: Very good local restaurants serving real Thai food, massage shops, fruit shop, 7 Eleven. Located on the quite part of Chaeng and only 7 minutes by Songthaew from the shopping center. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Anavana. Every detail was perfect. Our cottage with an ocean view, was spacious and just right for 3 of us-- a couple with 20 year old son. The food was delicious, the staff was amazing, the beach was gorgeous. I highly recommend the resort and would definitely stay here again.

Really an outstanding little resort!
Really outstanding property and extraordinary service. The staff is wonderful and the manager James too personal care with everyone. We had 4 bungalows - all wonderful - and ate and had drinks here daily, also outstanding. The beach and pool are perfect size for the hotel and of course you can walk up the beach for quite a ways. Not very busy by Poppies which is great but busier beaches are about 30 minutes up the beach. Taking a taxi into town or to Fisherman’s Billage is great for bars and restaurants and of course beach fire shows and drinks. Some beach clubs nearby if you want that sort of thing for a fee. Poppies is Highly recommended!

L'emplacement, la beauté des lieux, le restaurant et le service ont rendu nos vacances inoubliables au Poppies. Nous avons juste regretté que notre cottage soit si sombre et éloigné de la plage et du restaurant (chambre 115 puis chambre 114, encore plus éloignée), mais toutes les autres cottages étaient occupés. L’hotel è molto carino. È un vero boutique hotel. La colazione è buona. La cena così così ma piacevole. Poca scelta di vini decenti. La piscina un po’ troppo piccolina. Las piaggia non è male. È un peccato che si trovi a sud di chiaweng beach perché le strade da cui si accede sono veramente brutte e mal frequentate. A parte questo siamo stati bene ed il posto vale se uno si accontenta di dove è dislocato.

Like bar which was open throughout day, two slots of happy hour 12 noon to 2 pm and 5pm to 7pm. Lovely beach, and towel and bed man always attentive with towels and topping water, fresh fruit and around pool a great asset to the resort. Room for improvement suggest that breakfast menu could be expanded with say self service for drinks. Gardens throughout resorts increase mosquitoes so would recommend defogging and always using mosquito repellant. Great location

We loved the size of Poppies. Being smaller makes it feel more boutique. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were beautiful and the beach was well maintained. Thank you Poppies

Le peu de cottages est très appréciable, c'est le seul hôtel aussi verdoyant. Dommage que les avions passent au-dessus de la plage et que les jets ski soient si bruyants mais globalement tout est fait pour que notre séjour soit fabuleux. Par rapport aux tarifs effectués à Koh Samui, les prix du restaurant sont chers mais on paye le service et la vue sur mer. Nous avons préféré prendre tous nos repas à l'extérieur pour découvrir "la vie locale" et les prix extrêmement bas avec de la nourriture excellente.

Resort très bien placé. Logement dans de très beaux petits cottages. Il y en a peu donc toujours de la place sur la belle plage ou dans la magnifique piscine. Petit déjeuner plus que copieux et personnel aux petits soins discrets et charmants. C’est un Endroit magnifique, idyllique où un peu se reposer en toute tranquillité à deux pas du tumulte de la ville.

Very special place
Poppies was absolutely beautiful. The staff are awesome, James the manager is outstanding, and it's a little beautiful oasis in the middle of a busy part of the island.
