Wir hatten wohl Pech...
Wir haben das Hotel für 2 Nächte gebucht, da wir auf der Durchreise sind nach Koh Chang und wir uns mit unserem Kleinen nicht mehr als 3h Fahrt pro Tag antun wollen. Somit hier eine Suite gebucht (2 Zimmer). Diese war auch schön, nur funktionierte das Internet im Zimmer sowie die Klimaanlage im "Living Raum" nicht. Internet bezogen wir dann vom Zimmer nebenan, halt mit reduzierter Leistung und bezgl. Klimaanlage meldeten wir uns schlussendlich 4 Mal bei der Reception bis sich endlich jemand darum kümmerte. Am nächsten Tag jedoch wieder nicht funktioniert, worauf wir in eine Suprior Suite versetzt wurde. Grösseres Zimmer direkt am Strand. Naja, dafür alles zusammengepackt für 1 Nacht. Egal... jedenfalls gab es dort dann einen Stromausfall und mehrere Male Internet Verlust. Was soll ich sagen, wahrscheinlich hatten wir einfach Pech. Jedoch war es ziemlich mühsam dem ganzen aktiv mehrere Male hinterher zu rennen. Jedenfalls ist der Standort sehr schön und die Anlage gepflegt. Eine Weiterempfehlung lasse ich jedoch, aufgrund der Komplikationen und wie damit umgegangen worden ist, aus.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Das war mein 4. Besuch in diesem Novotel. Ich bin positiv überrascht, wie sich dieses Hotel über alle die Jahre gehalten hat. Das Management macht einen sehr fähigen Eindruck. Es sind die kleinen (zum Teil neuen) Details die überzeugen. - genügend Strandliegen - genügend Strandtücher - Barservice am Pool und am Strand - warme Snacks direkt am Pool zubereitet - freundliches kompetentes Personal - sehr saubere Anlage - viele Essensaktiviäten, Buffets - Minibarpreise wurden gesenkt (Konkurrenz am Strand) - saubere gut unterhaltene Anlage Ich komme sicher gerne wieder einmal nach Rayong.

Hotel in the Middle of Nowhere
Das Hotel liegt ca. 20 Km von der nächst größeren Stadt entfernt. Man ist auf Taxis angewiesen, wenn man was einkaufen will. Die Preise im Hotel in den einzelnen Restaurants sind für thailändische Verhältnisse auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Erkennt man auch daran, dass Abends die einzelnen Lokalitäten kaum besucht waren. Es gibt drei Lokale in der Nähe des Hotels auf die man angewiesen ist, wenn man kein Abendessen mit gebucht hat. Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis geht so. Der Hotelstrand ist gepflegt, so wie die gesamte Anlage, wenn man jedoch links und rechts vom Hotelstrand am Strand entlang läuft wird es müllig.

Schöne Hotelanlage. Leider wie immer bei NOVOTEL funktioniert WLAN nicht gut bis öfters gar nicht.Bett sehr schlecht. Anlage sehr gepflegt und Pool. Restaurant Shor sehr guter Service. Was man vom Zimmer Service nicht sagen kann. War erst gegen Mittag mit putzen fertig. Was bei NOVOTEL Paris auch so war bis schlimmer leider. Begrüssung Drink ein Witz . Finde Frühstück für 12.- CHF Pro Tag sehr teuer , leider für das gebotene. Sonnst Hitel ok

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer. Es gab weit und breit keinerlei Geschäfte oder Restaurants. Es gab kein Taxi, nur lediglich Hotel Van, der nur auf Reservierung Touren fährt. Der nächste ort Ban Phe liegt 13 km weg und Transfer kostet ca. €20!!! Also sind wir gezwungen, im Hotel zu speisen, zwar lecker, aber irgendwann langweilig wird. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr hübsch, sauber. Für uns war es leider der falscher Ort.

Ausgezeichneter service und Ausstattung
Wir hatten zunächst acht Übernachtungen gebucht aber da es uns so gut gefallen hat, haben wir weitere zwei Nächte verlängert. Für eine ruhige Bad urlaub ist das Hotel geeignet da es leicht abgelegen ist. Es gab zwei mal täglich( 9 Uhr und 12.30 ) kostenlose Mini Bus der Hotel zu Nah gelegene Ort Ban Phe. Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr gut organisiert und das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis mit Ausnahme von Frühstuck ( 440 Baht / Person) stimmt.

Wir haben unsren Aufenthalt im Novotel sehr genossen. Die Kinder hatten viel Spass in den verschiedenen Pools. Der Service war super, das Frühstück lecker, die Zimmer sauber. Super!!!!

Das Hotel liegt nicht in Rayong, sondern 14 km entfernt. Taxi 300 Baht, Sammeltaxi jeweils 20 Baht.
Die Lage des Novotel ist für Leute, die absolute Ruhe suchen, ideal. Wenn man abends aber ein wenig unternehmen möchte, ist man hier auf verlorenem Posten, da es in der Umgebung höchstens noch ein thailändisches Restaurant gibt, sonst nichts! Man müsste also wieder mit dem Taxi nach Rayong oder Ban Phe fahren (pro Fahrt 300 Baht), um ein wenig Life-Musik o.ä. finden . Ansonsten ist das Hotel sehr schön, wunderbarer tropischer Garten mit herrlicher Swimmingpool-Landschaft. Freundliches Personal (außer beim Check-In!)

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit ges
Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit geschmackvoller Einrichtung und gutem hilfsbereiten Personal - sowohl im Hotel- als auch im Restaurantbereich. Der Garten- und Poolbereich ist eine Augenweide. Nur der tägliche Kampf um eine der eigentlich reichlich vorhandenen Liegen trübte etwas die Urlaubsstimmung. Leider meinten auch hier einige Gäste mit Handtüchern "ihre" Liege reservieren zu müssen. Eine Unsitte, die man aber kaum dem Hotel anlasten kann. Wir kommen trotzdem gerne wieder.

Hyvä perushotelli rannalla
Huone oli siisti ja sänky iso ja mukava. Mahduimme juuri ja juuri nukkumaan sänkyyn kahden lapsen kanssa (se oli oma valinta) kahdestaan tilaa olisi tosi paljon. Henkilökunnan kielitaito oli melko huono. Saimme aika vähän tietoja hotellista ja asiointi kesti kauan. Allasalueet olivat kauniit, mutta altaat olivat melko likaisen oloiset. Ranta oli myös likainen, merestä ajautui tosi paljon roskia rannalle. Roskien ajautuminen rannalle saattoi olla kausittaista, mutta ikävää kuitenkin. Rannalla oli pari hyvää ja edullista ravintolaa. Hotellin ravintola oli kallis niihin verrattuna. Toisella puolella tietä oli myös ravintola ja tosi pieni minimarket. Muita marketteja ei lähellä ollut. Pariksi yöksi hyvä levähdyspaikka, mutta viikko olisi ollut liikaa.

Fint och lugnt hotell med bra läge på stranden
Enkla men trevliga rum. Fint läge vid lugn strand. Utanför någon stad, tar ca 40 min in till Rayong. Bra frukost. Tyvärr alldeles för få solstolar och folk går ner tidigt på morgonen och paxar plats för att sedan dyka upp efter lunch. Inga solstolar på stranden, på gott och ont. Små billiga och bra restauranger läns stranden, speciellt norrut. Billig och bra massage precis bredvid (på stranden). Vi bokade rum för 2 vuxna och 2 barn. Fick träff på ett rum med två sängar, på bilden var det dubbelsäng. Visade sig vara ett litet dubbelrum med två enkelsängar. Trångt att ha en tonåring i en 105cm-säng. Vi blev tvungna att köpa till ett rum till -> dubbel kostnad mot förväntad. Dåligt av hotels.com att inte filtrera rätt och att tillåta bokningen av fyra stycken i ett sådant rum.

Good beach location but poor breakfast.
Breakfast was very disappointed, no yogurt and bacon tasted like rubber but the beach was nice. If you want to use a jacuzzi, you need to tell them to turn it on for you. Tgere is no outside switches.

Ikke en god oplevelse
Vi har været på en lang række Novotel ophold over de sidste 25 år og det er første gang vi ikke kan give god en anmeldelse. På vores rejse stod vi ville få en velkomstdrink. Det fik vi at vide de ikke måtte servere grundet covid og det er hvad det var og på trods man kunne få alkohol på hotellet. Vi skulle have værelser med haveudsigt, men havde udsigt til en parkeringsplads fra det ene værelse og fra det det andet , udsigt til en kedelig grund. ( Kan desværre ikke få lov at uploade billederne) Hotellet havde fået booket et stort selskab, det var da også fint, lige indtil de spillede musik til kl. 01.30 med en bas der fik sangene til at stå og "hoppe", da vores værelse lå lige i musik-linjen. De kunne have tilbudt os et andet værelse væk fra musikken, men de ville kompenserer os ved at vi kunne flytte til et andet rum. Vi takkede nej og rejste en dag tidligere end planlagt og fandt et andet hotel.

Budget friendly stay at seafront hotel
Despite the name, this hotel is operating on a pretty old building. The elevator is very slow and the corridor in front of the room was quite dark where you had to pass the storage room before reaching the rooms. I found few mosquitoes in the room at night although I did not open the balcony, and it was quite itchy when I slept, which I suspected coming from bed bugs. The access to the pool and the beach was not stroller nor wheelchair friendly, so beware. However the room was overall clean and the AC was nicely cold. The beach and pool area was also kept cleaned.

The property is great for family stay. Great pools, easy access to the beach, and the beach is clean. My issue is more with Expedia. They listed the room as a sleeps 4. When we got to our room, there was room for only 2. We had to book another room which doubled my cost to stay.

Very good, great value
Check in was efficient and friendly. The room was what I expected. Comfortable bed, tile floors, balcony and large bathroom. Breakfast was good, very good for what the room cost. The pools were pretty spectacular. The exercise room was ok, not great. The hotel restaurants were good. There were several beach clubs in walking distance that offered good but less expensive food and drink. Othee than the beach clubs, there is not much in walking distance. I was pleased. Overall good, very good for price, and I would go back.

Nice location, but used for conferences
Nice hotel, friendly staff, beautiful pools and a nice beach. Small restaurants around the hotel which is way cheaper than the hotel, and worth visiting. Super nice BUT there were conferences every day and the pool-areas closed for private parties from 2 pm. Loud music until 11. Wish we were told ahead. Would go visit again on a quiet day :)
