"Zimmer im ersten Stock, geräumig, sauber mit Meerblick. Frühstück super, kein Büfett aber tolle Auswahl. Strand etwas bergab zu erreichen. Nette Bar in nächster Nähe. Ruhig gelegen zwischen Gewächshäusern. Preislich sehr günstig."

"Ein sehr sauberes und modernes Hotel. Klein und ruhig (das war uns wichtig). Alle Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und gut für Vegetarier:innen geeignet. Die Gegend ist super; fußläufig sind Cafés, Bars, Restaurants, Supermarkt und Strand erreichbar. Kann ich nur empfehlen! "

"We booked this nice hotel for a few days in kissamos and were not disappointed. Rooms were clean and big enough, we had a whirlpool and also a public pool. Service was also very nice and everything went well without problems. "

"Traumhaft schönes Haus. Wunderbarer Blick aufs Meer, schöne Einrichtung, großer Pool. Völlig ruhig gelegen, Griechenland pur. Im Westen Kretas ist von Massentourismus aber auch so gar nichts zu spüren. Zauberhafte Tavernen in der Nähe, entweder unter Olivenbäumen oder direkt am Meer. Ganz besonders: der Kontakt mit unserem Hausbetreuer. Wenn mal irgendwas war, beispielsweise ein Rohr leckte, gab es innerhalb von 1 Minute Rückmeldung per WhatsApp. Der Schaden wurde dann binnen einer halben Stunde behoben. Einfach perfekt, wie auch der Kontakt mit der Agentur im Vorfeld. Es gibt wirklich, wirklich nichts zu meckern. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Diese zwölf Tage haben uns sehr gut getan. Urlaub für die Seele."

"After reading some negative comments about the hotel we we're a bit insecure whether to book. But in the end, it was the perfect choice and we had a wonderful time at Casa d'Irene. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Check-in was very smooth and fast. We booked a classic room and asked for a room with daylight. The room was quite spacious (more than enough space for two people with two large suitcases) and it was almost new. We really liked the nice, modern design of the room. We even got some cookies and Raki as a welcome gift. The only small inconvenient was that the room was opposite to the reception. But it turned out that this was not really a problem. We were never bothered by other people talking in the reception. Concerning the parking situation, there is the possibility to park in the streets next to the hotel or at a parking lot in 1 minute walking distance. We did not encounter any problems to enter the parking lot. Platanos is a picturesque small village. There are many very good restaurants close to the hotel. The wonderful Falassarna beach is only a 10 minutes drive away. And Casa d'Irene is also ideally located to explore other beautiful spots on the island of Crete (like for example Elafonisi beach, Balos beach, Paleochora, Samaria gorge, Chania, etc.). This was our first stay on the island of Crete, but we will come back for sure!"
