Super Unterkunft in Kirkcaldy. Ruhige Lage im Wohngebiet. Jedoch Bahnhof, Innenstadt als auch die Küste zu Fuss zu erreichen. Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstück (incl. Frühstücksraum) ein Traum und traditioneller geht es nicht. Leider war das Fenster meines Zimmers zur Strasenseite, wodurch es nicht immer ganz leise war. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Krkcaldy auf jeden Fall wieder im Victoria Hotel.

Never again
Das schlechteste Hotel auf unserer Reise / superkleines Zimmer im Neubau / neben dem Bett war nicht einmal Platz für meine Schuhe / NIEMALS für 2 Personen / Abluft von Küche direkt vor dem einzigen Fenster. Aber das Personal war nett.

Needs a renovation
The public rooms of the hotel are quite nice looking, unfortunately so not the rooms. Ours was very small, hot and had a window towards a rather disgusting courtyard. The bathroom was quite old and small and we had difficulties to take a comfortable shower due to the low water pressure. All together (including the hard beds and the old carpets in the room) the rooms would need a renovation.

I returned from a trip to Dingwall on the Sunday and was looking forward to a High Tea however, when I reached here I was advised that the Kitchen was being rewired so, there was no availability of a High Tea, which was disappointing.

The hotel was in a convenient area of Kirkcaldy. The staff, from the room service to the bar and restaurant, were excellent; professional, helpful and friendly. This was my second visit to Kirkcaldy in almost 60 years; my first was to a cousin's 65th party at The Victoria some 11 years ago. Kirkcaldy, itself, was immensely disappointing (mind you, whoever goes back to a place they were born and brought up in finds that it is otherwise) but The Victoria exceeded expectations. A huge thank you to all the staff.

Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely meals. Good location, close to where our friends stayed. Only gripes were room very hot but did manage to get window opened. Shower lovely and hot but not great water pressure. Very good price. Will definitely stay again 👍

Our stay at the hotel was very nice, the staff were all friendly. The breakfast included in the price was amazing value for money. Would definitely stay again but ask for a room at the back of the hotel as ours was on the front overlooking the road & was very noisy.

This hotel was a real treat to stay in. My sisters and I were attending a family funeral and could not fault the Victoria Hotel. Every staff member was efficient, friendly and could not do enough to help us. Errin immediately offered to provide a packed lunch when there was a problem with our train travel. We sampled breakfast, high tea and dinner all of which were excellent. We had a very positive experience and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
