Far location up on the hill which however is not a problem, since a hotel shuttle can be called throughout the day to and from the bus station as well as to restaurants in arima. The in-room onsen and the freely bookable private onsens are great and relaxing. We had a great and relaxing time with the family!“

„It's our first time at an onsen ryokan, and overall it was a very pleasant stay! The receptionist that greeted us spoke English well and was very clear at explaining the facilities and answering any questions we had. She asked clarifying questions about our food preference so that adjustments can be made to the meals. My friend doesn't eat any raw food, we both don't eat spicy, and they made note of that. The Kaiseki ryori dinner was delicious. I mentioned I liked sashimi and I'm ok with raw ...

„Cleanliness and service were standouts. The public only onsen was small for public use, as at best, maximum 4 men at a time in my view, but 6 to 8 people all at once in such a tight area was very off-putting. “

„We were told the rooms are all smoking room. The cigarette smell was strong in our room so that was something we don’t really appreciate. The onsen facility was ok. The best was the one shared with the hotel next door.“
