What Shines is not always Gold!!
The Hotel does by no means justify its claim of being a luxury boutique Hotel. We arrived with great expectations and were deeply disappointed. Of course if you compare it with what is available in the area you can say its luxurious as it is also located on a nice spot. But if you expect to see a luxury boutique hotel you better wake up!! the rooms are dark and depressing and the Bath-Shower had drainage issues amongst others..like TV and internet reception.. the Breakfast is inadequate in aspects of variety and quality and does not meet by any means our expectations. the only thing that will remind you of the luxury is that the pavements amongst the trees are nice..and the beach with the clear waters which is nearby. in total a great disappointment ..and if we were able we would have left fromt he first night but as usual the refund was not an option neither an effort to resolve our complaints.. We will definetely not recommend it to our friends adn we shall not visit it either again! for the amount of money they request -charge per night it is a nogo!! even if we were naturists and adventurous and would overlook the negatives.. it is mush too overrated.. for waht it offer maybe 150,00€ would be the highest price justified!!

Tranquilidade, natureza e conforto
Hotel bastante confortável e muito bonito. Staff extremamente gentil e atencioso. Possui transfer gratuito para os hóspedes até Fiskardo, no entanto também é possível ir caminhando e leva de 15 a 20 minutos. Bom café da manhã. A prai de Emblisi está a poucos metros do hotel.

Superb location, hotel, service & facilities. Absolutely stunning resort - 10 minute walk to beautiful Fiscardo marina which is beautiful and so clean.. Emelusse also offer a speed boat experience fir guests to share - simply amazing 5 x cove stops for a swim and lunch on a nearby island really made our holiday … just loved it

Well located beautiful resort
After a shaky start involving an “upgrade” to an inferior room (declined ) we came away from a five night stay with good memories of the Emelisse. It is well laid out across a headland next to the picturesque town of Fiskardo. We had a room with shared pool access (recommended) which was spacious, clean and private. The resort has an impressive swimming pool for all guests as well as one just for adults in a separate quiet area. A small pebble beach with stunning water is a short walk away. Breakfast is excellent. The restaurant provides reasonable lunch and dinner offerings and there are many dining options at Fiskardo (accessible via shuttle at lunchtime and in the evening). Staff are lovely and service is generally very good. If you book a trip to Kefalonia, you should see this part of the island and you should stay at the Emelisse if you do.

What a beautiful hotel! We had the most incredible stay at Emelisse, the food is outstanding with a lot of choice and variety and not a single dudd on the menu, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and fresh local produce, the breakfast buffet is the best I’ve had and the views from the hotel are breathtaking. Lots of activities available, we played tennis and games and went kayaking, but also would have been totally happy laying by the pool the entire time it was so relaxing. All the staff were so friendly and helpful the service is top notch, very hard to leave this place at the end of our stay! Can’t recommend enough.

Beautiful property with multiple pools. Gorgeous views. Lives the fancy boat trip to neighboring islands and highly recommend it. Easy parking. Had to ask for coffee pods daily rather than getting refills. Also requested oat milk, which had to be delivered or i would pick up from reception area. Fitness center not open until 8. King beds only.

A ‘nice’ resort with a spectacular pool area. Restaurant is good, while buffet breakfast is decent but no a la cart available. Main issue with the resort is parking. If you arrive by car expect to park outside on the roadside. Checkin was the most awkward experience ever when trying to enter the main entrance getting told there is no parking and told needed to wait on the roadside for buggies to collect you and your bags to reception. Rooms are decent size but bathrooms a bit disappointing with small basins and little room for toiletries. Decor is a bit ‘meh’ but functional. Balcony and view was spectacular for our dual room family suite. Overall not a 5 star to me but about 4.5 … could be really good but let down in some simple areas, perhaps due to sale of day passes to casual visitors.

Health and safety crisis.
It was terrible we had a book for six days. We ended up only staying one night and leaving early. They do not comply with health and safety standards. When we asked for a refund they refused. Hotels.com also did not intervene which made us very unhappy. We lost thousands of pounds and we are not happy.

Disappointing
Emelisse Nature Resort is a Hotel that was probably amazing and fully deserving of their 5 stars 10 - 15 years ago. The rooms are nice but you can feel that a lot of it is old or not been serviced for a while. The pool area is fantastic and the view is great. The staff is very helpful sometimes a little too much but I had issues with the restaurant and especially the chef. None of the food plays up the to price tag that is set on it. You can make a steak look very pretty but you can't hide the fact it's overcooked and tasteless. On a personal note I have allergies and during the evening there are only 4 things on the menu that I could eat and the chef refused to try to change some things because the menu is the menu. Even with a menu of 50 items in the daytime that are completely off in the evening. This is the reason I would never pay to go back their again.

Seaview room very nice. Pool area lovely with bar & restaurant overlooking the sea. Rooms large but only an uncomfortable day bed for extra person. Breakfast excellent. Area delightful and super restaurants nearby.

Housekeeping in rooms could be enhanced.
Couple with grown up daughter. Day bed was very uncomfortable for my daughter to sleep on so only really suitable for under 18's. We had an issue of broken shards of glass in the rush matting which my daughter stepped on and she had to pull out of her foot. We asked for enhanced cleaning which was executed that day. It is a lovely hotel and breakfast was excellent. Staff were very nice and we would stay at resort again as a couple.

The resort has an incredibly beautiful location and access to two fabulous swimming spots. Everyone in the restaurant is top notch. The front desk could use some improvement in efficiency and attitude, which could be more responsive and friendly. But we would come again.

Bom hotel, mas muito caro pelo que oferece
O hotel tem um bom quarto, mas que é grande e mal aproveitado. A localização é boa, próxima de Fiskardo, com uma praia privativa muito bonita! Piscina com borda infinita e área de piscina muito boa. Restaurante bom. Porém pelo valor que se paga, praticamente nada dasa tividades do resort está incluso, e os valores cobrados são muito pequenos, deveriam colocar coisas como inclusas no valor do hotel, como água no frigobar (1 euro), caminhada nas trilhas da propriedade ( 5 euros). Além disso, há um transfer do hotel pro centrinho de Fiskardo, mas funciona em poucos horários e acaba relativamente cedo. Em resumo, é um bom hotel que se ajustasse essas questões seria excelente!

The rooms were spacious and those with an ocean view spectacular. The staff made the whole experience as nothing was too much trouble. A possible downside was the food in the main restaurant, which tried too hard and didn't really give a flavour of Greece. The music here was also too loud, All in all a fabulous stay
