„The house was spacious and over nice. One room had mold and could not be slept in due to the smell. They had a dehumidifier in the room, but did not eliminate the smell.. The house was mostly clean, but could use a little extra cleaning, bathrooms and kitchen especially.The owner is very nice and very good with communication. We enjoyed the location of the house, at the end of the street, so not any traffic. The only other thing was we had 7 adults and 2 children and they left out 6 towels for ...

„From the first day we booked to the day that we left, we received almost immediate responses to every question we asked. As usual, there were a couple of arrival difficulties, but the host quickly took care of those. The house is beautiful. We were able to walk to the point and watch the waves and even some whales. They also made great suggestions about restaurants and supermarkets in the area.“

„Beautiful spot, house is large, nicely furnished and decorated with a well stocked kitchen and other amenities. In a residential neighborhood, very friendly atmosphere and pleasant area to walk around. Pahoa is a quiet town, has a nice new grocery market and a few fun places to go out to eat or drink. We saw tons of whales go by from the lanai and enjoyed short day trips to Hilo and Volcano.“

„Great place to stay - just as advertised. While not fancy or luxurious, it is very nice, comfortable and clean and in a spectacular location. Having morning coffee on lanai overlooking the ocean cannot be beat. Probably the best stocked kitchen in rental that we have ever had. Saul is an attentive (in a very good way) host. He provides great welcoming touches, including a bottle of wine and fresh cut flowers.“

„Leider regnete es bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr viel, was zu äußerst unangenehmen feuchten Räumen, Inventar und Kleidung führte. Mit Ofen und Heizlüfter mâßig trocken zu bekommen, bis der Strom ausfiel. Der Besitzer Gary war sehr bemüht, jedoch gab es am vorletzten und leitzen Tag kein warmes Wasser. Der angegebene Whirlpool war leider auch nicht zu finden. Lage sehr ruhig, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Guten Lage zum Volcanoes National Park!“

The house is spacious with the upstairs and downstairs rooms, bathrooms. The garage was big enough to fit two vehicles which was perfect for the rainy days. The house is fully stocked with all the amenities. We would stay here again if needed and would highly recommend families to do so too. This was truly our home away from home. Mahalo!“
