Hotel staff are super nice and the location of the property is perfect if going to Chobe National Park. It’s also a quick ride to the Zimbabwe border to go to Victoria Falls.

This property has pretty much what you expect at a Traveldoge. The rooms were affordable and the upstairs and downstairs had individual air conditioning. The food on site was definitely better than what you might expect and was even fairly tasty. The provided airport shuttle was an extra nicetie, even though the airport is a short distance away. The property is also very safe having its own security, though Kasane wasn't dangerous. The biggest drawback was probably the beds. While adequate, they were not the most comfortable. There were also a few power outages while we were there, though the exact cause wasn't clear (and did result in alarms going off once the power was restored). Note that the Wi-fi is excellent - enough to easily stream video. Also, the hotel has all types of electrical outlets common to Botswana. It is also close to the entrance to Chobe National Park.

Easy to get to from the airport and wonderful staff from the start to finish of our stay. Helpful and very attentive to all our needs including amenities in the rooms, WiFi and help connecting with our tour group the following day. Food, drinks and service at the bar, restaurant and breakfast were exceptional. Lovely place with lovely people and a great fist impression of Botswana. Thank you!

The place was a very nice and reasonably priced. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They always seemed to go out of their way to make sure everything was good. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The linen was clean and the pillows were super comfortable. The laundry service was very inexpensive and quick. The cocktails were hit or miss. All the dinners and food in general was good or great. It was very close to the airport and they provided a shuttle service to and from the airport. I stayed for 9 days. I really love this hotel.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Plus, if you’re lucky, you can see some wildlife from the observation deck as the hotel backs onto to Chobe National Park. We saw a few elephants while we were having some wine at sundown: it was lovely!

Excellent stay at Travelodge Kasane. Great rooms and great service. Excellent breakfast included. Excellent food at the restaurant. Staff were great and helpful.

Bien pour les chambres, nul pour le reste.
Hôtel tenu par des locaux, la chambre en duplex est vraiment très belle et moderne. Les problèmes : pas assez de serviettes de toilette, de produits de toilette, un coffre-fort fermé depuis longtemps, et le pire : un petit déjeuner en dessous de tout. Tout comme le restaurant. C'est simple, on retrouve tous les soirs les clients du Travelodge dans les hôtels avoisinants.

Hotel nuevo. Excelente atención de todo el persona
Pues eso, el hotel se ve nuevo. La habitación está bien, el baño minúsculo, pero todo limpio y agradable. La maxima nota se la doy por la buena relación calidad precio, en comparativa a otros hoteles de Kasane, no porque sea un hotel de lujo , pero la atención ha sido excelente, desde la recepción hasta el personal de limpieza. Buen comienzo.

not a tourist destination
The poor build quality results in the hotel looking shabby which is sad as the place has only been open about 3 years. Check in smooth but room allocated for our 5 day stay had a broken air-con and room unswept. Moved into another room. Room setup for one so we had to request additional towels etc. Bathroom is tiny (2x2m) and the corner shower difficult! Breakfast spread good but service very slow. Pool is good order. Parking safe. Located away for the main tourist track and can be a little noisy with guests, who were obviously on business, socializing in the garden right outside our door.

Close to airport
Hotel is close to airport but far from town. Staff are friendly and food is okay. Standard rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny, no room to move. Don't pre-pay as they will not refund any cancelled nights even advised the day before.

Business or short stay hotel with great potential
Great discovery in the upmarket Kasane. Hotel is worth a visit. Simple, clean with great staff. Has the potential to become a very popular choice in the expensive Kasane area. Hotel has just opened and the manager still has to work on a couple of points such as the food quality not being always up to standard. I understood that a new executive chef is starting 01 June, after which I would expect food to be top notch. Taste the grilled bream from the menu. Is delicious.
