„This is a beautiful property. Having multiple lounge areas was great as even with 7 of us it was easy to find a quiet space. The bathrooms were really clean and modern and the underfloor heating in them was great. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the gardens were really beautiful.“

„We were recently in the Southern Highlands for our daughter's wedding and our extended family stayed at this beautiful property for 4 nights. What a fantastic stay! The entire property is lovely and the main house and cottage are perfect for group stays. The conservatory with its abundance of natural light, was the perfect place for the bride and bridesmaids to have their hair and makeup done. Very clean and had everything to make your stay welcoming. We loved having a drink in the evenings ...

„We had such a wonderful stay at the Retreat. It is a beautiful cottage with everything you need. Cosy and well appointed with gorgeous bedding and a kitchenette. The garden is full with f quaint touches and plenty of birdlife. Close to Bundanoon Pub where we met friends for lunch. Lovely hosts. Perfect weekend.“

„What a shame !!!! The unit was actually very nice, and close to everything. The problem was how unmaintained it was. The floor was not vacuumed, and there were food scraps everywhere. The bathrooms had less than half a roll of toilet paper with no spare rolls. The kitchen had no sponge to be able to wash up. The main shower was not draining the water properly, and water would spill out. We called to tell them the problems and were told to plunge the shower ourselves (with no plunger available), ...

There should be more specific info about each accommodation in the welcome pack and options to contact the owner directly given this was the weekend and the office was closed. “

„Gorgeous space and surroundings. Would book again!“

„We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and very peaceful. We were unable to find an outdoor light to be able to use the pizza at night so we just cooked inside. We loved the electric blankets and the fireplace, although it took a while to get it started as the wood inside was still damp. The gardens were immaculate and we loved the swing set. Definitely a great place for a friends weekend away.“

„Amber Cottage in Bowral was a wonderful choice for four couples. Visiting in winter, we were initially concerned the house might be cold, but the central floor ducted heating kept the entire space beautifully warm, and the faux fireplace added a lovely, relaxing ambiance. The kitchen was impressively well equipped with plenty of cookware, and the separate pantry—with its large fridge—made storing food and supplies very convenient. Three of the four bedrooms were generously sized, while the ...

With 5 bedrooms, all lovely, plus 4 large bathrooms, a large loungeroom for ample relaxing, pool table, games etc, a large dining room and kitchen with all facilities, it is perfect a for large family gathering. Fantastic outdoor areas under cover makes the house even better, and it has always been very clean, and beautifully decorated, but still very comfortable to be in.
