„Kandy war die letzte Station in unserem Urlaub. Vielleicht hätte man im Vorfeld mehr über die Lage des Hotels lesen sollen. War nicht so optimal. Die Stadt ist halt sehr laut und daher sollte man eher etwas abweichend vom Zentrum ein Hotel suchen, ansonsten kommt man nicht wirklich zum schlafen. Sind auch einen Tag früher abgereist. Das Hotel selbst ist eher mittelmäßig. Würde hier wirklich nur ein bis zwei Nächte empfehlen mit Zimmen, die eher nach hinten aus gehen. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ...

The view over the lake and the city captivated us directly and the cleanliness of the room was also top. All the staff were very friendly. „The rivora hotel is just outside Kandy but you can reach everything easily by tuktuk or taxi. The area is very quiet, so you can relax after a busy day. The room was super clean and the staff extremly helpful and friendly. We stayed for 3 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer! “

Allerdings fehlt dem Haus die Wärme - alles ist funktional und eher lieblos und nüchtern gehalten. Die Gänge und Wände sind einfach nackt und der Hall ist dadurch recht gross.
