At the time of check-in, I was told that I am being upgraded to the business category room with which I was kind of happy and thanked the staff as I was really tired. However, when I entered the room, there was water on the floor (guess leaked from the overhead AC unit). After a while I realized that there was a smell in the room and hence I called up teh reception to ask if they had given me a smoking room. To this, I was told yes its a smoking room and I can smoke in there. I told the person that I dont smoke and hence I would like to change the room because of the smell to which he replied that they can spray a freshner in the room.
On telling that I need to change the room, I was told that there are only twin bed rooms! I had to go for it because of the smoking smell in the room; even though at the time of booking, I had clearly opted for non-smoking and king bed room.
Then in the restaurant, when I asked for the menu, I was handed over a torn menu card! I mean, you represent a world known brand so atleast keep up to the standards!
