„This is a comfortable home in a quiet Waimea neighborhood. There’s a beautiful pasture behind the house with a few cows roaming around. It’s a very short drive to grocery stores, restaurants and farmers’ markets. It’s a great location for accessing both sides of the island. It is a bit of a drive to Volcano NP, but still doable. The beautiful Kohala beaches are also close by. We were also close to some great hiking trails. So all in all, this is a great jumping off point for most of the island. “

From the terrace you can see and hear the sea, a public beach access is only steps away, where you can enjoy the sunset and occasionally even see sea turtles. We have enjoyed the quiet location in Puako and the privacy this apartment is offering. A special thank you to our hosts Kyla and James, we have appreciated your warm hospitality, the prompt and easy communication, and your support (including the early check-in upon arrival). If it would not be that far away we would definately come again!"
