The kitchen was well equipped (even a bbq that we used a few times to grill local fish) and there were beach chairs, boogie boards and a surf board for us to use. The place is very comfortable and clean. We loved being so close to Hanalei - both the town and the beach! The host was also great - great communication and helpful tips and reminders. Thank you! “

„It is a beautiful place and decorated just wonderfully. The kitchen was very impressively equipped with great utensils and appliances. We had to put a pillow on each side of the step as you enter with an open space to go to the main level as all three of us fell one time. I was mildly irritated that the owner would not opt for a Blue Ray DVD player we had asked for and we had to haul one to and from in our luggage. „This was a perfect house for our first visit to Kauai. The homeowners have thought of everything. They manage it themselves and put a lot of attention to detail into their home. The house was spotlessly clean and you really have everything you could think of (i.e. beach towels, umbrella, chairs, supplies like laundry detergent, etc). The location was also good, within walking distance to a golf course and some restaurants. We had a rental car and there was an assigned parking spot near the house ...

„The host, Gigi, is a gem. She is very personable and communicative. The property is as described, yet a bit dated and a bit darker than the pictures portray. When in Hawaii you expect some bugs but we encountered quite a few more sugar ants than any of our 4 previous visits to Hawaii. The bathrooms were not as clean as we expected, thus the lower rating for cleanliness. We likely won't stay in Princeville again but I would not hesitate to rent another property from Gigi if the opportunity ...
