Sehr gute, ruhige Lage. Nur 15 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Haltestelle vom öffentlichen Meteora-Bus (zu den Klöstern) direkt vor der Tür. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Das Hotel ist frisch renoviert und in einem Top-Zustand. Modern und hochwertig eingerichtet. Bequemes Bett mit bestem Schlafkomfort. Optimales Badezimmer. Alles sehr sauber. Frühstück (kleines Buffet) besser als erwartet. Unser Fazit: Absolut zu empfehlen...!!!

Beautiful location with views of the Meteora rocks. Close to hiking trails to monasteries. Owners were beyond belief and did our laundry for 20E. Paid for breakfast but well worth it. Great restaurant up the street - Meteron Panorama (try the steppe cow steak and smoked black pig). Worth spending 2 nights after hiking 11 miles.

A truly great hotel near Meteora’s monasteries
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in over many trips to Greece! Modern, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Professional and warm staff who embody Greek hospitality perfectly. Good breakfast, too! I wish I’d been able to stay for more than two nights, as I really enjoyed my time here. I also slept really well here, which is the whole point of a hotel. You can walk to several really good restaurants in town, too.

Nuevo establecimiento con personal muy amable que te da toda la información de la vista, buenas calidades y excelentes vistas, la habitación nueva con buena decoración, espaciosa y todas las comodidades. Además del balcón de la habitación dispone de una excelente terraza común. La única pega es que no tiene ascensor. Los desayunos se pagan a parte.

Beautiful hotel with great amenities. Extremely clean and wonderful staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. I also highly recommend the Gkertsou Family Meteora Restaurant, authentic greek cuisine operated by a lovely family since 1926.

We stayed at a few hotels on our 3 week trip around Greece but this stay was by far the best! The hosts were amazing - nothing was to much trouble and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. The accommodation itself was beautifully presented and very clean. The bathroom had a shower with a rainhead which felt like sheer luxury after walking up hundreds of steps during our visits to the Monastery's. There is also a gorgeous patio on the first floor where you can sit and enjoy the view and just relax and absorb the atmosphere of the place.

Fabulous property in a great location. Just a few minutes walk to the 'main road' where you will find all of Kalambaka's shopping and eating delights. Plenty of parking available in front of the property. Our family of 4 enjoyed the family room that was a lovely modern space meticulously cleaned daily. The property has a beautiful terrace available to guests that we made use of enjoying breakfast and a cheeky sundowner of an afternoon with a beautiful view. The hotel owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Even jumped in the car with my husband to escort him to the local GP when my daughter needed to see a doctor. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

This is a very well maintained family run property. Nice and clean. Very comfortable bed and nice sheets. Great views and easy parking. The hotel decoration is very chic, elegant and also sustainable. The owner is very friendly. She gave us many good recommendations for restaurants and the routes to the monasteries on the cliffs based on our schedule. I would definitely recommend this place to stay when visiting Meteora area.

the rooms are spacious, clean, modern and well-maintained. Housekeeping is timely and great! The hosts are simply amazing and I strongly encourage you to try their add-on breakfast (€8 pp). It’s made fresh for you and is hearty and delicious! The location is also perfect - at tge foothills of Meteora and a 5-10 min drive from every one of the six monasteries. We’d definitely love to come back & stay here again.

Pictures do not capture the beautiful, tasteful and relaxing decor. It is absolutely spotless and the personal care of the owner is evident. It was one of those very special places to stay. It was very hot when we were there in August. Not only was there AC that worked well, there was also a ceiling fan over the bed which we really appreciated. The day before we got to choose what we wanted for breakfast. There were lots of choices including cappuccino which was very good - we even ordered a second. It is on the edge of town about a 5-7 minute walk to several cafes and restaurants (the closest taverna was closer), nice and quiet and with a beautiful view of the rock formations. Highly recommended!

The staff was attentive, warm and willing to help with suggestions and recommendations before and during our stay. The property is tastefully decorated, very clean and in a good location where you can easily walk to the center of Kalabaka (5 mins). We stayed for two days while visiting Meteora and enjoyed the quiet location and nice views of the mountains from the terrace in the triple room (#1).

The guesthouse is very aesthetically decorated and we especially loved the rooftop with its sofas and soft lighting to sit in the evening and look up at the giant boulders of meteora lit up. The breakfast is also very generous and beautifully served. It is clever that they ask you to fill out a breakfast form stating what you would like off the menu. Saves waste and time. Some of the breakfast dishes and plates are made by a local potter nearby and it was nice to be able to visit her studio and buy some items. Anna Maria the owner of the guesthouse was very helpful and gave us a warm welcome. I am glad we decided to stay in Kalabaka and not the village nearby as it was fun to just walk down the road to the lively little town.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Oikia Guesthouse. The property is bright, clean and well furnished. The room is clean, comfortable and well sized for 3 of us. The host, Anna and George are friendly and very hospitable. And we loved our breakfast as it is fresh and from the local area. It is also very convenient as it is within walking distance to main town center.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits au pied des Meteores, c'etait magique. L'accueil est super, nous avons pris le temps de discuter pour avoir leur conseil sur les visites à faire. Ils sont attentionnés avec leurs hôtes pour qu'ils ne manquent de rien. Les chambres sont supers, modernes et biens équipées ! Allez y les yeux fermés. !

Perfect stay at Meteora
Beautifully designed, super clean, great location. Very generous breakfast, and super friendly and helpful owners. We had a room with a balcony overlooking Meteora, but it was not necessary. The hotel has a shared terrace with a great view. I would not hesitate to book it again.
