Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Altstadt von Jerusalem. Direkt neben dem Hotel ist ein großer Parkplatz und eine Schule. Auch nachts ist es immer laut. Das Personal ist wenig an den Anliegen der Hotelgäste interessiert. Oft bekommt man unfreundliche Antworten.

Die Lage im jüdischen Viertel, dennoch mit PKW erreichbar, ist perfekt, um sich Zeit zu nehmen und ohne Hektik die Altstadt von Jerusalem, in der jeder Stein eine Geschichte hat, zu entdecken. Nach den Zerstörungen durch die Jordanier 1948 ist das "Sephardic Haus" ebenso wie die gesamte Nachbarschaft überaus sensibel rekonstruiert worden. Special thanks an Josephine an der Rezeption!

Leider eine Enttäuschung
Wir hatten uns von den schönen Fotos zur Auswahl dieses Hotels verleiten lassen und waren sehr enttäuscht.Die Fotos entsprechen nicht dem tatsächlichen Zustand.Das Haus ist schäbig und ungepflegt.Das Zimmer hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch.Das erste Zimmer hatten wir beanstandet, da die Lüftung laute Geräusche von sich gab, obwohl die Klimaanlage ausgeschaltet war. Das Problem war offensichtlich bekannt, wir bekamen ein anderes Zimmer.Der Frühstücksraum befand sich im Untergeschoß mit Blick auf eine Hinterhofwand.Das Hotel werden wir nicht wieder buchen, obwohl die Lage direkt in der Altstadt gut war.

Sehrvgutes Hotel in der Altstadt
Wir suchten ein Hotel in der Altstadt von Jerusalem. Mit unserer Wahl waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Lage war hervorragend. Das Hotel war gepflegt, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Früfstücksbüffet war sehr reichlich und lecker.

Neues Hotel im geschmackvoller Stil

Ruhiges Hotel am Rande des Jüdischen Viertels
Hotel liegt am südlichen Ende des Jüdischen Viertels und war so nicht mittendrin im Trubel der Altstadt. Trotzdem erreicht man alle Viertel der Altstadt zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten. Die Klagemauer ist "um die Ecke". Zunächst bekamen wir ein Zimmer mit Blick auf das südliche Jerusalem. Zwischendurch unternahmen wir eine 2-tägige Tour nach Petra. Das Hotel hat unser Gepäck aufbewahrt und bei der Rückkehr bekamen wir sogar ein Upgrade zu einer Suite (dieses Mal allerdings ohne Aussicht... :-) . Man kann ja nicht alles haben... Rundum zufrieden, konnten sogar darüber hinwegsehen, dass es am Sabbat keinen frischen Kaffee zum Frühstück gab, sondern "nur" Nescafé und heißes Wasser. Ansonsten war zum Frühstück alles da, was man brauchte und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal am Desk war immer behilflich und nett (in Israel keine Selbstverständlichkeit wie ich fand). Öffentliche Busse und Taxis vor dem Hotel.

Staff at breakfast is kind of rude, they just get the food out of the kitchen and that’s it, nothing warm,nothing prepare for guests, and you can see them eating while guests are still having breakfast the breakfast hotel hours. Property is ok but not for the price of a 4star hotel.the entry door is even broken you have to push it really hard to getting bc the security guard that’s sitting there i guess is for decoration, bc he doesnt even ask if you are a hotel guest so i guess anybody can get in. Reception staff is ok, but they are not kind ehen we check in they didn’t even bother to explain the location of the hotel in the area, neither any eating or attractions suggestions. The bed is comfortable. Elevator was always an issue we were in the 5th floor and elevator often only made it to 4. Definitely not a 4star.

Location is great! Parking is an issue since you have to park in parking lot about 10 min away but since it's in the middle of the main attraction sites we parked our car for 2 days and walked everywhere. Hotel staff is great in helping with our needs!

We wanted to stay inside the walls of the old city of Jerusalem. There are of course much larger newer hotels outside the walls, but there's nothing like staying inside the old town. The property was in the Jewish Quarter. It was clean and not too noisy at night. Breakfast was included and was a full buffet. It is basic, so not a lot of amenities. No pool, etc. But the AC worked well; and the hot water. The beds were clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful. It is about a 3 minute walk from the Western Wall.

Great location for seeing old jerusalem. Hotel has 2 sections, we had family in both. And huge difference in quality of room. Dissappointed i paid same as my inlaws room but our room was definitely not as nice and kinda dingy

All our 50 hotel rooms are nice and neat but we have rooms categories like economy , deluxe and each has a price and that is very clear on our website.Anyways we hope to see you again in the future.

Pros: location, location, location. Rooms and property are clean. Staff at breakfast very friendly and helpful. Cons: poor air conditioning in one of our rooms. Even thought we brought it to the front desk attention twice upon check in nothing was done and when we came back at 11pm we were offered to move, we were too tired to move so fan was given. Thru our 4 night stay the AC in our room worked well only for 1 day. We were told that it’s the case in every room which isn’t true as our friends stayed in the room next to us and their AC worked well. Electricity in the entire property went out daily from an hour to up to 3 hours. Nothing was ever announced or told to the guests about it. Assistance from the front desk was very average, we weren’t really listened too before the answers were provide (obviously incorrectly)
