„The house was perfect for us! We had plenty of space, enjoyed the large kitchen, the patio, the hot tub and having fires outside in the evening. The kids loved the pool table and ping pong table. We had a blast! The house was clean, beds comfortable, great appliances and the house was well-stocked with everything we needed. We would come back and stay again! “

„Valcour Cottages was the perfect escape for a lake house vacation! The house was clean, perfect view of Lake Champlain, and provided wood for fire pits at night. We were able to use the tubes we brought to swim on a calm water day (there are steep steps to the water, but also a couple close beaches) The Cottages are near some gorgeous hikes! „We really enjoyed ourselves! The property is perfect for relaxing, loved the screened in porch overlooking the river!!! Even when it was chilly ( did mIt’s close to all the lake placid attractions y morning yoga out there… we enjoyed the fire pit outside, the sauna was awesome!!! All the furniture was comfy, and kitchen was well appointed ( we did a lot of cooking!“

„This was a perfect home for our family of 6 (plus a dog) to relax at while visiting family nearby. We had all the amenities we could need and then some. We loved the outdoor area for yard games, wildlife watching, and time around the fire pit. Fadi was an extremely friendly host who was always available when needed. There were a couple of unseasonably hot days forecasted during our stay and Fadi reached out ahead of time to offer extra A/C units if needed. We will stay here again! “

„This place was a fantastic location for me and my boyfriend to get to and from the lacrosse tournament that he was playing in. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it is less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Lake Placid and numerous trailheads in the area. We appreciated that it was pet-friendly and were able to bring our rescue pup along with us. The house was extremely clean and exactly as shown in the photos. Would definitely stay here again.“

„Anlass unseres Besuches war die Bob Weltmeisterschaft in LP. Die Unterkunft und die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern waren toll.Das Cottage in Lake Placid war sehr sauber und komplett mit allem ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen. “

„We stayed over the Fourth of July holiday. The apartment has an awkward layout with both bathrooms being only accessible from the living area.Everything is old and well used. Mattresses are not comfortable, etc. The shower had mold in the corners, but everything functioned.This unit is located on the 3rd floor with a lot of stairs to get to it. That is really not stated clearly. If you have mobility issues, I would think twice.It is located in an excellent part of town, walking distance to all ...

"Das Cambria Hotel war das schönste auf unserer 4-wöchigen Reise durch die Neu-Englandstaaten. Das lag vor allem an den herzlichen Mitarbeitern (vom Hotel-Manager David angefangen) über die Leute an der Rezeption und im Restaurant. Zudem hat das Hotel einige Annehmlichkeiten, die deutlich über dem Durchschnitt liegen. (Laundry, Innenpool, Restaurant-Terrasse mit schönen Möbeln, Kajaks und Tretboote zum Ausleihen und einer schönen Aussenanlage am See mit Feuerstellen) Wir haben uns in dem schönen, recht großzügigen Zimmer mit Pantry, mit Ausblick auf die Berge und dem tollem Badezimmer sehr wohl gefühlt. Von uns gibt es eine Empfehlung für Lake Placid für dieses Hotel."
