Das Hotel ist sehr gut zu erreichen. An der Rezeption wurden wir freundlichen empfangen. Wir haben ein Zimmer im neu renovierten Teil des Hotels erhalten. Obwohl das Hotel aus mehreren Gebäuden besteht, sind diese miteinander verbunden, sodass man bei jedem Wetter alle Bereiche des Hotels bequem erreichen kann. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sehr modern eingerichtet. Die Küche überraschte uns positiv mit der Aussattung. Für Selbstversorger perfekt. Das Badezimmer war ungewöhnlich groß, sodass man sich morgens problemlos zu zweit fertig machen konnte. Die Lage liegt zwar ziemlich am Ortsende, jedoch ist man zu Fuß schnell in der Stadt. Man hatte immer einen schönen Blick auf die Berge, sodass jeder Spaziergang Freude bereitet hat. Die Ziele in der Umgebung sind gut zu erreichen und da man einen Parkplatz in Innenhof hatte und nicht lange suchen musste, war dies ein weiterer entspannter Faktor.

Waren sehr enttäuscht von diesem Hotel. Für über 300 Euro pro Nacht ohne Frühstück ist das Hotel völlig überteuert! Teppichböden und Kleiderschränke in den Zimmern und die Badezimmer sind sehr alt! Personal erst nach Beschwerde freundlich. Gibt viel tollere Hotels zu besseren Preisen. Ist uns leider erst vor Ort aufgefallen.

Einzigartig war definitiv, dass der Pool im Zentrum des Hotels zu finden war. Dieser war allerdings in keinem separaten Bereich, sondern neben dem Restaurant. Durch die Gallerieartige Anordnung der Zimmer hatte man zu jeder Zeit den extremen Chlorgeruch in der Nase, sobald man das Zimmer verlassen hat. Unser Zimmer war generell sehr als und heruntergekommen, was daran gipfelte, dass die Türen zum Balkon nicht dicht waren. Die Klima/Heizung war derartig laut, dass man kaum schlafen konnte. Vom ökologischen Apekt das Zimmer aufzuheizen, weil die Türen nicht dicht sind, brauchen wir nicht zu reden. Alles in allem ein sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Forest Park Hotel, it’s an easy walk to everything in Jasper and had beautifully appointed rooms (we stayed in the new kitchenette suites). Nice property with some good amenities. A bit of a hoof to downtown Jasper but it’s a nice walk when the weather cooperates. Hearthstone Lounge is disappointing in comparison to when we were there a few years ago but it’s not the end of the world.

Looks and feels run down. I was there for 2 nights only so I tried to make do but if I had to stay a little longer, I would have considered moving to another hotel. Bed was really comfortable and that was the only saving grace for me. Bathtub faucets wouldn’t function properly - the cold water tap wouldn’t even budge initially until I’d wiggled it for a good 5 mins!! I need to mention though that I was in one of the Woodland rooms.

I liked hall and style of restaurants. Room was enough clean, but bath in room was not very clean: water didn't drain fully, some amount was stayed and dust was stuck in.
