Ein Alptraum ohne Worte...

Ohne Worte. Service komplett inkompetent - eine Person für alles. Wir haben während unseres Aufenthaltes keine weitere Person gesehen, wahrscheinlich hat sie auch gekocht. Sie checkte ein, bediente an der Bar und hat abends die Bestellungen aufgenommen. Zimmer und Bäder in einem erbärmlichen Zustand. Beim Abendessen war die Hälfte der Gerichte nicht mehr verfügbar, das gewählte Chicken im Blätterteig hatte eine gummiartige Konsistenz. Der versprochene Fuhrpark an Mountainbikes stellte sich als 4 verrostete Kinderfahrräder raus, das einzige Erwachsenenfahrrad hatte keine Pedale. Der ersatzweise überlassene Fussball war platt. Wir sind immer noch fassungslos - nicht buchen. Lieber im Auto übernachten.

There was no one there. & we never found the pool

There was a deserted building which was creepy. We never so anyone. And if there was in indoor pool we never found it.

Sleigh House - Charming but could use some help

With no sign reading "Sleigh House" at the property, it first appeared that we were trying to break into someone's garage. The directions included in our envelope brought us to the right spot, but a simple sign above the front door would be helpful. However, once we got inside we were impressed with the setup and the room was pretty nice. The only negative experience I had was that the shower didn't work. The water seemed to hang up in transition between tub and shower, and you couldn't plug the tub to take a bath. This led to a disappointing and awkward sponge bath scenario. On top of that, the hot water ran out after a few minutes. It really wasn't a bad stay overall, we just needed a place to crash for one night and went skiing the next day.

Smaller than expected.. Pictures do not march hous

I rented the sleigh house and thought it was a two bedroom.. We were 2 adults and 3 children. The master bedroom was nice snd there was a closet off the bedroom that i guess was considered a second bedroom. There was a fild dow cot and a tiny dresser in there and a clothes rack over the foldable cot... The other two kids had to sleep on the couch. I thought from the pictures that the second bedroom would have two twin beds! Not the case.

Sleigh House

This is a great place for a family with a toddler. There isnt a separate bedroom, just the large loft-like bedroom upstairs with a walk in closet. That is where our little one slept on a cot. He loved his "cave" The living space downstairs is spacious with a large common room and huge pullout couch. .....so this place is good for friends too that may not need separate private rooms

White Mountain experience

We reached there late at night and the checkin keys that were left on office door were not for us , we did not have a phone no to call so had to checkin in that room. Caused major problems the following morning for the person who was suppose to checkin in to our townhouse Rooms are ok but neighborhood has far decent hotels at a better price

other than the fact that they never made the beds every day, and that the hot wter did not work and that the breakfast a\was closed nd that the matress was old 10 years ago then everything was ok

Don't waste your time

The facility needs a complete renovation. Our room smelled terrible the furniture was old and beat up the TV was small and old. P. S. 1990 would like its TV back. When we called the front desk they where never there, got the machine mid day very bad experience

Wonderful people that own this, but it was false advertising,,the indoor pool hasn't been open for years judging by the amount of storage in that room with the empty pool. and the Breakfast part of the bed and breakfast advertisement was a pot of coffee on the front counter..at $200 a night I expect more.

Hotel in the forest

Given the previous bad reviews, I really had low expectations on the hotel. Actually, the room (#11) was clean and comfortable. Maybe a little bit overpriced but it seems to be in line with other inns in Jackson area

Short vacation

This was the pits, it was like paying for a Mercedes and getting a Mini.. this was a complete misinterpretation of hotel, it was nothing like the write up/photos..in a completely different location and left a lot to the imagination. It was expensive and not what we thought we were getting. If we were not too tired after driving from Ottawa and this was not our only choice and it being a holiday weekend we would have gone elsewhere! it was a total rip off!

Motel situe a 25 km de North Conway, New Hampshire

Chambre très bruyante, située en bordure d'une route très passante, propreté qui laisse a désirer, une télé de 13 pouces sans télécommande, une seule table de nuit et pour deux soirs, les clients n'ont pas droit au service de chambre. Lit pas fait et les serviettes ne sont surtout pas changées. La salle de bain n'est pas configurée pour des personnes de plus de 150 libres! Donc je ne recommande à personne de réserver a cet établissement.

Old but charming

Hotel was old and in repair but the room was clean spacious and there was a nice access to a beautiful backyard with open fireplace and chairs. Very charming, almost like a b&b.

worst Inn

No breakfast, no pool, no housekeeping, no new towels, no staff, ice bucket but no ice machine. no one to empty garbage.Inn was empty, no other customers, no staff, we were the only ones there, very eerie.

Name is not White Mountain Experience

First of all hotel name is not White Mountain Experience which we came to know only after reaching destination. We were looking for this name board and took us some time to figure out the hotel after kept on calling the phone number given by Expedia for this hotel. Hotel name was Dana Place Inn, there was no front desk available when we reached and also while check out. It was mentioned Continental Breakfast in the booking confirmation but there was no breakfast either. Overall I would not recommend this hotel.

Forget the shower

There was sparse water and sometimes none. The second day we had only lukewarm water for a shower.

I'd go back again

There was a very nice older couple that greeted us upon our arrival. Checkin was quick and we were personally show to our room. It is a nice inn in a style somewhere between a B&B and corporate run inn. Breakfast was a very nice quaility, with Starbucks coffee and quality juices.

Cramped, cold and limited room features

Stayed in cramped attic room showing some wear. Walls are acoustically thin. Room was clean but poorly sprung and noisy bed, no heat, no carpet (hardwood floor), no alarm clock, 1 side table, 1 dresser, TV, tiny bathroom, (1 ply toilet paper).limited hot water from shower, and limited service. If I had not prepaid, I would not have stayed here. Breakgfast was okay, but ends at 9:30am. Mt Washington and Jackson NH are reasonably close.

Need to upgrade

We loved the hotel as a whole but the room was tiny and had no a/c. The pool was right next to the room and a dehumidifier going off and on all night. With no a/c we were forced to keep our window open. The shower was an issue with lack of hot water. The staff were incredible and very friendly.

Extremely Disappointed

We were very disappointed with this Inn. The rooms were old, not rustic, old. The headboard was cracked/broken, no hot water, mould on ceiling, water stains on curtains from A/C, comforter was coming apart at seams.. didn't use pool as it didn't look clean. The young gentleman always served us breakfast and was wonderful. He is a definite asset to this Inn. For such a young man he is very in tune with the guests. Seems the staff was used to making excuses for the lack of care of this Inn. Staff was very nice, outside property was beautiful, swimming hole was a highlight. We didn't see any adult bikes, but saw kids. We were not in need of them anyway.
