„This place was like a lottery dream home if you love the outdoors. Huge and spacious in every aspect - bedrooms, shared space, bathrooms, MASSIVE deck looking right out at the Kennebeck River, and lots of land to walk around the shore line. It is very much a hunting themed lodge but we were there for rafting, which is about 3 minutes away. Everything was modern and updated and the owner was responsive to all questions. We are planning another trip we were so happy with it.“

„A group of friends and I planned a weekend trip to Raggae Fest at Sugarloaf and the house ended up being the main attraction. Right when you walk into the living room you are greeted by more moose and deer heads than you can count. It made for a super unique experience and something that I’m sure we will talk about for years to come. There’s also a great downstairs with pool and ping pong that was a huge hit. „I checked in at 6pm on Aug 20th, the hotel office building was dark with a “closed” sign hanging in the front. I then called the office and surprisingly I could neither talk to anyone nor leave a voicemail because the mail box was full. It was upsetting that this hotel completely disregarded their customers in such an unprofessional manner. I was left high and dry and had to rearrange my hotel booking in the evening. „The place was a dump! They lost our reservation and the people to check us in were gone. The first floor of the “lodge” was a single building, managed by the local rafting company (there weren’t any rafters scheduled) with bunk beds on the first floor (not at all like the picture) and a shared bathroom. I heard from the “maid” (she had a housecoat on) that the second floor was better but we were put off by all the bees and bugs everywhere on the first floor. I can only imagine what the beds ...

„We stayed in April to experience the eclipse. The house is right on Moose River. In warmer weather we definitely would have taken advantage of the access as well as the firepit. Close to snowmobile trails and plenty of summer time activities. Would highly recommend. Communication with owner was excellent.“

„The owner has done a very nice job with this cabin and property. Cabin is clean well built and the lay out is perfect. We stayed there for a week of hunting and had a great time. I will be booking it again for next season if it’s available. Brian“

„Everything was good minus the couch cushions constantly were falling off the couch. Appliances didn’t have any lights(fridge ect). Not much you can do about tv due to the size of the place but definitely not the most comfortable looking up 15ft at the tv.“
