„Property was just as described and host was responsive and very helpful. Wonderfully private setting with out of this world views, yet short drive to villages of Iznajar and Rute. Pool was great and layout of the house worked very well for our family. Host (Jim) even helped us jump start our car battery which had died! We would highly recommend this beautiful getaway spot.“

„Right from our arrival at Finca El Chopillo we (two adults and two children, 8 and 5 years) felt very comfortable and could start to relax. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed and we arrived very late. Philippa nevertheless took the time to make our arrival as pleasant as possible. „When you pull into the driveway you feel like you have truly arrived in Spain. A truly Spanish Villa. 5 bedrooms all with their own ensuite. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the sun or shade. Don’t be confused with nearest beach being on the coast as this was not the case, to get to the sea it was a 45 minute drive. „Fantastischer Blick in die Landschaft. Leider gab es sehr vile Ameisen (auch im Bett) und Vespen auf der Veranda. Wegen der Wasserknappheit gab es öfter kein fließendes Wasser. Der Vorratstank hat nur bedingt Abhilfe geschaffen. Etwas mehr Schatten auf der Veranda wäre schön gewesen.“

„Die Villa ist perfekt eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Wir haben die Tage am Pool sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit Johan lief problemlos. Wir bekamen vn ihm sogar die wichtigen Google-Streetview-Bilder als Hinweise. Die habe ich mir sonst selbst besorgen müssen. Die alpine Anfahrtstrecke sorgt dafür, dass es nicht zu viele Ausflüge werden. „We booked this as a family getaway to bring our adult family together in the week between Christmas and New Year. The villa is delightful with lots of special touches (eg tissues in every room, welcome basket etc). For us it was a good base to explore Granada and the Alhambra as well as more local attractions like El Torcal national park and the local viewpoint. „Wie schon im letzten Jahr verbrachten wir 2 Wochen in der Villa. Bei unserer Ankunft waren wir überaus angenehm überrascht, wie gepflegt und ansprechend uns das Anwesen empfing. Das Haus war frisch gestrichen und die Grünanlagen, der Pool und das Interieur waren von Jero a la bonheur gepflegt und heraus geputzt. "Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mitten im Nirgendwo. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und das Frühstück vollkommen ausreichend. Leider war der Pool nicht so sauber, aber die Unterkunft (Zimmer 8) hat uns dennoch sehr gefallen."
