„The hotel has it's own charme, directly located at the Cathedral, nicely polished up (since our last visit in 2007), offers very friendly service. The slightly complicated distribution of rooms is owed to the old historic building. No direct car parking in the vicinity, but unloading an loading possible. We sure will come back “

„the hotel was beautiful, lovely room and amazing bathroom. parking was difficult, the hotel us on a main road so nowhere to unload. nearest parking is above a shopping mall opposite that seems to have a million exits, i was directed to the wrong one but some not very helpful locals. i had 3 heavy bags so it took the shine off the stay somewhat. also the hotel has no staff on site so everything is keyless. weird but functional but they are available on text message and phone. there’s no food ...

„When I arrived it said there was a reception at the rear. There was nothing but a locked door. I was lucky that there was a fellow guest who could let me in and ring the manager. When I got in the room it was unmade from the previous guest, the sheets where dirty, there were bedsheets in the washbasin, dirty towels on the bed, the two towels that were folded up and put in the wardrobe were stained. The duvet smelled of urine. All in all very dirty and you'd be better going somewhere clean.“

„Jeder der eine kleine Bleibe mit Charm sucht und nicht erwartet ein 4 Sterne Luxushotel vorzufinden ist hier genau richtig. + Super nette Bedienung + Unkomplitziertes einchecken, selbst kurz vor Mitternacht, da der Schlüssel hinterlegt war. + super nah an der Küste und am Peer ° Essen war ganz ok, wir hab das Frühstück in einem der Tausend Lokale in der Innenstadt dann trotzdem vorgezogen. ° Zimmer sehr gemütlich, Betten auch frisch und sauber, allerdings sehr hellhöhrig und etwas urig. ...

„In over 30 years of travelling on business, this is one of the best places I have stayed in.Although I did not meet the owners it was clear that the accommodation was well looked after and virtually everything had been thought of for the comfort of their guests. Virtually everything was absolutely spotlessly clean.The only small point I noticed was that there was dirt around the toilet seat hinge - a bit of a dirt trap and difficult to access(I'm sounding like a "Four in a Bed" contestant ...

„Die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber Henry und Heidemarie ist nicht zu überbieten; sie erzeugen eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre während des gesamten Aufenthalts. Zimmer zwar klein, aber solide eingerichtet, Bad ebenfalls klein und fensterlos. Alles blitzblank sauber. Frühstück britisch, Portionen für mich schon oppulent. Insgesamt eine sehr positive Erfahrung“

„Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience.“
