Private Bungalow - Margarita Jungalow - Coco Hill

Come and stay at Coco Hill!

Just up the hill from the main town of Old Bank, on the way to Wizard Beach, you'll find yourself at home.

We have 4 Jungalows (jungle bungalows). 3 luxurious private cabins and a fully furnished house. We run our vegetarian restaurant and a bar (open for dinners and lunches by reservation). Of course breakfast for our guests is included.

Our farm is organic and most of what we cook for you is grown by us.
The space
The Margarita Jungalow is private and wonderfully comfortable. A large double bed with hand crafted mosquito net to ensure cool breezes while you sleep, and four screen sliding doors opening to create the effect of living in the trees. A wrap-around balcony with a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea and the south side of Isla Colon, complete with hammock to laze away the afternoon. Elegant bathroom with hot water shower that is large enough to hold a party, opens onto the balcony and also has a fantastic water view. Wifi is available in the restaurant. Depending on how many banana trees are in the way, it can also be received in the jungalows, but hey this is the jungle! Note: all of the water we use is from the rain. During the dry season we sometimes run out of water, and ask that everybody keeps their showers quick. This is the price we pay for living in the jungle!
Guest access
The gardens are all organic and are filled to over-flowing with tropical fruits, vegetables, nuts & herbs. The many birds that inhabit it, along with the famous 3 toed sloths, make it peaceful and serene. Guests have access to our hang out area, the gardens, and our Vegan/Vegetarian restaurant. Wizard beach is only a 30 min walk away and Up In The Hill Chocolate Farm only 7 min.

The path can sometimes get muddy when it rains, so we have an umbrella and gum boots for you to use. Although we have our own lights on the path down to the town of Old Bank we also have flashlights for you.

Coco Hill is also LBGTQI friendly.
Other things to note
The Vegan Restaurant on site is open nightly for dinners but only through reservation.

The breakfast self serve area, packed with fresh fruits, homemade breads, jams and preserves, coffee, teas, freshly prepared coconut milk & vegan butters.
There are extra breakfast options that can be added for a small charge, including fresh eggs from our chickens. We make our own breads and jams too.

Important: Coco hill guesthouse is ON A HILL. Immersed in the romantic jungle, you will be surrounded by nature's beauty and soundtrack. From old Bank, be prepared to walk uphill for about 7 minutes. We are just passed the school and church. Everyone knows us and you dont need to hesitate if you want to confirm your direction. If you have heavy luggage and would prefer assistance, simply higher a helping hand by the dock for just a few dollars. If there was recent rain, which is expected in our tropical environment, the hill will likely be muddy. In addition, since we are living on the hill, the walk ways between cabins and restaurant will have some inclination .There will be rocks and crates used as steps to guide you.

We do not have credit card facilities so it's cash only sorry. The only bank is on Isla Colon.
