„The place was perfect for our needs and was as described. The location was great, easy to get to and close to the places we wanted to visit in the area. Plenty of room and comfortable to relax in when we came back from hiking all day. We used the kitchen for breakfast and lunch prep which had everything we needed including some kitchen basics (seasonings, PAM, etc) that were appreciated. The host was quick to respond and helpful with recommendations. I would come back for sure.“

„Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We came with our 3 young children, ages 6.5, 3.5 and 2. The house was stocked with kids toys, books, bikes, helmets, wagons, bath toys, a high chair, everything and more we could possibly need for children. The location was perfect, walkable to the beach and a very close drive to downtown Marquette. Dore’ our host, was friendly, communicative and gave us a full tour before our stay. „We walked from the Vrbo to the shops, eateries, harbor, farmer's market and playground on a sunny, warm weekend, with the kids/grandkids. It was a friendly neighborhood with a view of Lake Superior. A spacious, well-stocked kitchen was used for family breakfasts and lunches before going to Wetmore Beach, as recommended by our host. Of the three beaches we attended, Wetmore was the best! The host thought of pretty much anything you could need while on vacation and quickly responded to all communication. The furniture and beds were comfortable and our dog loved the porch and yard. „My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We brought our paddle boards so being right on Lake Independence was great. The living space was very clean, had everything we needed (including a comfortable bed!), and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We also loved being about 35 minutes from Marquette - there is a wonderful Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings that we recommend going to.
