Cocoonr is offering this charming holiday home in Iron for rent, complete with a swimming pool and hot tub. It has a floor area of 220 m² and can accommodate up to 12 guests.

The accommodation is laid out as follows:

On the ground floor:
– A living room with a corner sofa that converts into a double sofa bed, a TV and a wood-pellet stove (pellets provided).
– A large dining room, ideal for family meals, with a wood-burning stove (wood provided), a dining table and a table football table.
– A fully equipped kitchen including: an electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob…
– A bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200) and a cot.
– A bathroom with a bath, shower and double washbasin.
– A separate toilet.
– A separate room dedicated to relaxation with a jacuzzi.

Upstairs:
– A bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200) and a single bed (90x200).
– A family suite comprising two separate bedrooms. The first bedroom has a single bed (90x200) and a play area for children. The second bedroom, accessible via a few steps, has a queen-size bed (160x200) and two single beds (90x200).
– A shower room.

For even greater comfort, the owners provide the following additional facilities: barbecue, high chair, baby bath, washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Outdoors:
– A private, enclosed garden with a mix of shade and sun, two sets of garden furniture available, a swing and other children’s play equipment, two terraces – one of 30 m² facing the courtyard and the other of 40 m² facing the garden, featuring the swimming pool.
– A swimming pool (3.50 x 6 m) with a natural filtration system and no chemicals. It is home to fish and plants that bloom with the changing seasons. It is unheated and open all year round. We kindly ask that you do not apply sun cream before swimming, out of respect for biodiversity.
– An indoor hot tub available all year round.

The house is ideally situated in Iron, in a very pleasant setting. You’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market…

Things to do: the Godin Familistère, Guise Castle, the Axe Vert for lovely bike rides or walks, the Familistère gardens, the cinema in Guise, wild plant cooking workshops, the Hélène garden in Proisy, the historic Vivat brewery in Le Cateau, etc.

Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the house’s private car park (2–3 vehicles).

As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful:
– A car or bicycle is essential.
– Nearest railway station: Saint-Quentin, 35 minutes away, and the Haute-Picardie TGV station, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes away.

– Bed linen and towels included.
– Pets are welcome free of charge (maximum 2). Please specify this when booking.
– End-of-stay cleaning is included in your booking and involves preparing the accommodation for future guests. We would be grateful if you could leave the property in a reasonably clean condition and clean any kitchen appliances after use.
– Parents are responsible for supervising children whilst swimming. Opening dates are subject to change and depend on favourable weather conditions.
– Any request for arrival or departure outside the specified times is subject to the availability of the person in charge of check-in. A flat-rate surcharge may apply.
– A charming family home, spread over several levels, with a few small flights of stairs that give it its unique character.
