„Although the weather did not really cooperate (rained for the first 2 days), we still found the home cozy, peaceful and and the area serene. A beautiful location right on the lake. We go once a year with our four wheelers to northern Vermont and this was a great riding area. Lots of trails with stops along the way (Parker Pies, Bakersfield, Morgan Store). Jim and his wife were there when we arrived. Very nice people. Would recommend to hikers, ATV'ers, and just folks who want to get away. PS. ...

„Stayed for 4 days of fishing. We loved the location, the appearance of the house and there was plenty of parking space for 2 trucks and 2 boats. All instructions were clearly communicated. House was clean and well stocked. All the necessary kitchen items are there. The lake is beautiful and if you are a fisher-person there are plenty of fish waiting to be caught. The ‘Queen and twin’ in the upstairs bedroom are bunk beds which was a bit of a surprise but we made due. Would definitely stay again.“

„We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Two families with a total of 5 kids ages 7-12 and we had more than enough space to spread, hang out, and enjoy Jay. „My friends and I were looking for a large home that was close to Smuggler's Notch and Stowe for disc golf and mountain biking and we found it here. Not only is it secluded with plenty of space outdoors for activities, but also has tons to do inside if the weather was bad which it rained each night. „We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The view from the kitchen and living room is beautiful. The kids enjoyed the kayaks, foosball table and the Elmore Sugar house ice cream which is close by. We found the hot tub rules somewhat intimidating, so we tried to minimize our use in the tub, but we still had lots of fun and hope to come back.“

„We ski Jay a lot but decided to stay on the mountain this past weekend - and our stay just happened to coincide with the epic March snow storm! That aside, the condo was as described - great space, super clean, great communication with the owner. 10/10“

„Very clean home. Perfect location for viewing the 2024 eclipse. We've been to the Northern part of Vermont before but not the Irasburg area. It's very quiet and peaceful. The home is a lovely restored farm house with plenty of room for 8 in our family gathering age range 18-84. We had a great time. Had a check in snafu that was our fault due to the way the vrbo app displays info but resolved quickly. Hope we didn't bother the hosts ;-)“

"Der Manager vor Ort war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war genau so wie auf den Bildern, aber ich fand einige Ecken etwas unschön. Spinnweben in den Ecken, ein Lüfter lag rum, dazu muss ich aber auch sagen, das wir nur ein paar Stunden vor Eintreffen reserviert/gebucht hatten - trotzdem hätte ich mir ein wenig mehr Gründlichkeit gewünscht. Das Bad war okay sauber, aber an einigen Stellen etwas zusammen gebastelt, Isolierband am Duschvorhang o.ä. Frühstück war gut, Bagels, Kaffee und Snacks ausreichend, um nicht noch irgendwo extra frühstücken zu gehen. Das Internet war schrecklich langsam und quasi unbrauchbar, was nervig war, da es keinen Empfang vor Ort gab und wir somit morgens erstmal losfahren mussten, bis wir Empfang hatten, um die weitere Route zu planen. Alles in allem kann ich es aber weiter empfehlen. "
