Weiträumiges & gleichzeitig familiäres Hotel
Sehr schönes Hotel! Ich würde es als edles Landhotel mit hohem professionellem Anspruch an sich selbst beschreiben. Das Personal ist auffallend freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Spontane Sonderwünsche (benötigten eine weichere Matratze) wurden freundlich und unaufgeregt entgegengenommen und ausgeführt. Der Wellnessbereich und Garten sind weitläufig und sehr schön! Wir haben uns dort jeden Tag einige Stunden aufgehalten. Der Fitnessraum ist auf hohem Niveau und gut im Schuss. Das Frühstück lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen ! Zudem: Man erhält eine Karte mit der man sehr viele Seilbahnen umsonst fahren kann und zusätzlich auf Eintrittspreise Vergünstigungen erhält ( wir waren auf dem Gletscher und in der Eishöhle ) Kurz: Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt 😊

Un séjour Merveilleux !
Un séjour incroyable au Jagdhof avec mon mari. Un hôtel magnifique, un service souriant et prévenant. Le plus beau SPA que nous ayons jamais vu ! Nous avons passé 4 jours de pur bonheur ! Le restaurant est délicieux ce qui était très important pour nous en tant que bons vivants français...

An absolutely magical stay from start to finish! Just a few highlights: *Beautiful huge spa *In room sauna *Rustic and authentic Tyrolean rooms *Fresh and tasty food including the magnificent fondue hut *Stunning wine cellar *Attentive staff *Brilliant casino night *Great location for the glacier with a free shuttle included I would return in a heart beat! I am 30, so not just one for older couples - it really caters for all.

Disappointing
Hotel needs refurbished, updated and modernised. Spa is impressive if you want a really big spa with multi bathing options. Staff were helpful but overlooked some basic levels of service. Bed not comfortable, bathroom very dated and doesn’t meet 5 star expectations. Overall lack of investment seems to have had an impact on the property and staff moral. Moved to a nearby 4 star which was much better in every respect and of course less expensive.

5 Star is not for me.
Beautiful 5 star Hotel great location! But the friendly staff and service is over the top and gets on your nerves. The staff moves at 100 miles an hour and you think any minute your going to get run over. You are constantly asked is everything ok what can we do for you. The minute you put your fork down your plate is gone. I found it strange that for a 5 star hotel you could not control the temperature in your room. They need to come and do it. The Sunday prepared menu was a presentation of a lot of plates with not much on them but with flair decorated. It took a long time to get it all done but for 70.00 euros there was very little to eat. If you like pomp and ceremony and want to feel your the most important person .... this is the place for you. Normal Bavarian Inns are much more enjoyable and relaxing.

My new favourite hotel / hideaway!
The most relaxing stay ever! From the amazingly friendly staff who somehow know who you are the moment you set foot in the door upon arrival to the most incredible Spa facilities and staff I have ever experienced (and I have been to more than a few great Spa facilities); coupled with the spectacular backdrop of the Tyrolian Alps and with my balcony almost on the bank of a beautiful glacier-fed river . . . it simply does not get any better than this! No traffic noise, no aircraft, just the right volume of water rushing by and the birds singing. Even on a rainy day the Spa facilities more than made up for the lost day of incredible hiking and exploring. This was EXACTLY what I had envisioned as the perfect place to dis-connect from the day to day craziness, and re-connect with nature, the world around us and my thoughts. I can't wait to come back!

Overrated and expensive, except for Spa lovers
This hotel was recommended to me as one of the best in the region. I have to admit that I have been in more comfortable, luxurious and cheaper hotels in the Alps. Unless you are a Spa lover ( with top facilities in that regard), I was largely disappointed by this hotel, in particular with regard to the rooms and amenities in light of the quite hefty price tag for the room: over 700.00 USD per night. For that price, I had a room with a view partly on a parking and nothing especailly luxurious. In addition, upon our arrival, the lady at the reception tried to lure us to the restaurant for dinner. We were about to accept until we realized that the price was a 50 € per person (65$) without drinks. After we expressed our deception with the room, we were offered another room with mountain view which happened to be cheaper than the initial one. Unfortunately, the Management did not offer us a discount for this downgrade. Although the facilities are nice with regard to the Spa and the pool, it is far from what I expected and I was left with a bitter sense of having wasted my money.
